(The Malaysian Insider) - Former communist leader Chin Peng laid down arms 20 years ago, and on April 30, he lost his final bid in the Federal Court to return to Malaysia, but in recent weeks Umno leaders and media controlled by the party have turned him once again into the country’s “Public Enemy No. 1”.

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, a former Umno Cabinet minister, expressed concern today over the racial overtones of the campaign to prevent Chin Peng from coming home.

“According to Rais Yatim and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi there is a new enemy — the group that wants to revive communism. The ministers may have come to this conclusion because there are a few Chinese who want Chin Peng to be allowed home,” the former de facto law minister wrote on his blog today.

Rais, the information minister, and Ahmad Zahid, the defence minister, both claimed this week there were moves to revive communism.

Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian have also been running anti-Chin Peng stories on a daily basis in what appears to be a campaign to whip up a sense of nationalism among readers.
Former security forces veterans are also being interviewed to rail against the “evils of communism”.

Rais also said this week that RTM would start airing documentaries on the “cruelty” of the communists.

Writing in his weekly column in Berita Harian, Datuk Abdul Rahman Sulaiman, a former MP and a media advisor in the Najib administration, claimed that the principles of freedom of speech and democracy were fronts to revive communism.

He added that the tendency of the opposition to speak of a class struggle by using specific terms such as "ruling elite", "Umno elite", "Umnoputras" and "marginalised groups" reflected the same pattern.

The anti-communist campaign so far suggests an attempt to paint a picture of the Chinese community as sympathisers.

It also appears to include the portrayal of Malay Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders such as ousted Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin as a communist sympathiser because of his close ties with the Chinese-dominated DAP.

“Many are sympathetic to Chin Peng’s aspiration to return home and die. This does not mean they want to revive communism.”said Zaid.

He pointed out also that even the Chinese in China were now practising free market capitalism as are the Chinese community in Malaysia.

“So what is the motive of Umno in making a big issue of communism? Don’t cause friction among the people by creating a new enemy.

“I wonder if Chin Peng were a Malay, would our stand and emotions be the same?”
Zaid noted that Utusan Malaysia was campaigning aggressively against Chin Peng, and while he agreed that the former communist leader was “cruel,” he pointed out the “cruel” communists included former fighters such as Rashid Maidin and Shamsiah Fakeh who were allowed to return home to Malaysia.

Muhyiddin Yassin 1 major decision taken as Education Minister prove to be a stupid one!

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the ministry decided to do away with the open certificate system, which allows students to sit for as many subjects, as the majority only took 10 subjects or fewer.

Why must every new Education Minister comes into office and then tries to prove how "smart" he is by fixing something that is not broken!!! In the end the decision is usually a bad one!!

Then the next Education Minister will also want to show everybody that he is smarter and change the system again!!

Well Muhyiddin Yassin is no different! The joker decide to be smart and major thing he does is to limit next year's SPM student to only 10 subject!

WHY?!?!

To solve JPA Scholarship issue ah?!?!

Stupid way to solve the issue because you can't solve one problem by dealling with another issue!

Does that mean that every students who get 10A+ (next year) will surely get JPA Scholarship?!? Surely there will be people who will get 10A+ but will still be left out from the JPA Scholarship!!!

What then!!?!?

Limit people to 8 or 9 subjects is it?!?

JPA Scholarship selection is one issue.

The number of SPM subjects a student take is another! The Education Minister should be smart enough to know the difference!

I think Muhyiddin has failed to get proper consultation before he implement this new policy!

Does he understand the implications of those students who are taking Chinese Subjects or other extra subjects!

In theStar report he gave his reason for the changes..... (by rebuttal in red)

The Education Minister gave 3 reasons for the 10 subject limits!

1. “We want to streamline this as it will also be an easier way to determine the awarding of scholarships.”

2. Muhyiddin said teachers would also be able to focus better if students were only allowed to take up to 10 subjects because they would not be burdened with teaching other subjects.

Again Muhyiddin failed to see the problems are 2 separate issue!! Teachers overburden with extra subjects is a separate issue! That is a teacher load management issue! You could limit the students to 10 subjects, and this could still be a problem! What's more is that most students taking extra subjects usually take the subjects outside and do not use the school's resources anyway!

3. “Parents also will not have to rush their children for too many tuition classes.”

That is up to their parents lah! That is their choice!! Why should you limit them when the students and parents would like to study more! Why are you bothered if they rush!!

Their only crime was making arrangements for the launch of a three-day hunger strike. Zulkefli said that they would be investigated under the Sedition Act for putting up a large balloon with the wordings Daulat Tuanku and Bubar DUN (Dissolve the Assembly).

Latest arrest the most ridicules!

The Ipoh police tonight arrested two DAP members as they were entering the party headquarters where an indoor candlelight vigil was taking place. The police arrested them at 8.45pm on the grounds that the two were going to take part in an illegal assembly.

For goodness sake!! This is indoor and they have not actually taken part yet!!

Are our movements now being police as well?!?

Why wasn't Nizar arrested?!? Didn't he participate as well?!?

The answer is simply because the Police knows weak that if they ever dare to arrest Nizar, all hell will break lose and they will have a RIOT in their hands!

How is it that we all know that this places are all operating illegally but the Police never seem to catch them!?? Are the Police blind?!? Are they Stupid!?!? The Police can track down RPK in Australia but can't tell that there is an illegal brothel running right behind their Police Station?!?

So why have they not close these places down?!? I cannot write down the answer here but I am sure any right thinking person can come to a reasonable conclusion!

If you think the occasional bribe some police personal get for stopping you (for breaking the traffic light rule) is enough then you are fooling yourself! What about the higher ranking officers?!? Why do you think the Police are on BN side?!?

The answer is simply because as long as BN is in power, the status-quo remain unchanged and they can continue with their corrupt life -style!

So the best way to get at the Police is to make sure the Police act on the illegal industry!!

If you know of a gambling den, a shop selling illegal DVDs, a Health Spa that is actually a prostitute brothel, get a group of people together and make a report to the nearest Police station!

Make sure you get the IO name!

Follow up on the case and report it to the media! If the IO fail to act?!? Report him to the MACC!

Make sure you get the name of the IO in the MACC also!

Again inform the media and keep putting on pressure on the authorities to shut these places down!

If the police are busy investigating real crime, then they will not have time to pull off all these nonsense arrest!

I know some people will think I am naive! But at the very least if the illegal industry in your area is shut down! You can be sure that some corrupt top ranking police officer, will be that much poorer and piss!!

Barisan Nasional (BN) government in Perak to dispose of 14 units of Toyota Camry cars will cost taxpayers RM518,000!!

The decision was made to support the country’s national car industry, with the month-old Camrys to be replaced with the Perdana Executive model.

The original price of the Toyota Camry was RM167,000

However, the current market value is RM130,000 - this means a loss of about RM37,000 per car. Multiply this by 14 and the total loss comes to about RM518,000.

This has nothing to do with patriotism.

The BN decision was driven by “prejudice” against the ousted Pakatan Rakyat administration. Why are the BN state and national leaders not buying the Perdana Executive for their private use and for members of their families, if they want to show patriotism by using the national car?

They prefer to buy foreign models with their personal funds.

A RM1.3 billion deal was signed in Putrajaya this morning between the federal government and Shimizu Corp (project leader), Nishimatsu Construction Co and local players UEM Builder and IJM Corp.

This is a lucrative contract for the Pahang-Selangor raw-water transfer project.

SO WHAT's THE PROBLEM?!?

Well....Nishimatsu is facing graft probes in Japan and had previously been accused of negligence in Singapore!!!

The graft probes has led to the recent resignation of company president Tadashi Ishibashi and opposition leader Ichiro Ozawa. While Singapore, has accused Nishimatsu of flouting laws involving safety standards.

I think Peter Chin's excuse for still contracting Nishimatsu is real stupid!
Peter Chin said, that this does not matter as long as the company has the ability to deliver.

“Let’s put it this way, if we are not confident that they are carrying out their work, as per tender, we would not have selected them,” he said.
(Wah LAU! So does he means that he does not care if the company is dishonest or that the company had flouts safety standards as long as the work gets done!)

When asked if public confidence in the project could erode. “As long as we are happy that they are capable of carrying out the job, which they are, the issue of public confidence should not arise..."

(WAH! Does he mean that he don't care what the rakyat thinks as long they are happy!?!?) (Wait till the next GE and see if still cares what the rakyat thinks!)

He continued "...They have given us assurance that the project can be carried out without a hitch.”

(What is the assurance?!? Who will pay for their possible incompetency or corruption? Is it Nishimatsu, the BN govt or us the tax payers?!?)

Pressed further on the government practice of blacklisting errant companies, Chin said that incidents abroad would not affect the decision. “This is happening in Japan..."

(This is the most stupid answer of all! What assurance that just because it happen in Japan, it will not happen here?!?)

They have just set a precedent that a Sultan can remove the MB without a motion of no-confidence from the assembly!
Does this means that if the King is not happy with the PM, he can do the same as well?!?

Police failed to act against MCA members for showing the tumultuous May 7 Perak assembly sitting without a 'B' certificate from the Malaysian Film Censorship Board.

While the police arrested the DAP members for not producing their B certificate for the video clip screening of the 'Assembly sitting under the tree' which was screened at the Chin Woo Hall on March 29."

Why has the police not taken similar action against MCA members for not producing the certificate during their screening of the assembly video clip last Sunday.

“Don’t forget… don’t blame Tuanku (Sultan of Perak). In the 2008 general election, the BN was the only party that had the majority in the State Assembly with 28 seats… the opposition pact is not registered and remains as three separate parties.
“At that time, if Tuanku had wanted to appoint Tan Sri Tajol Rosli Ghazali (the former mentri besar), he would have had the right because the BN was the only party that had the biggest majority.

“The Tuanku, in the spirit of democracy based on the resolution made by the elected representatives from the three opposition parties… (After) the Tuanku had received their written pledges, the Tuanku then appointed Nizar as the mentri besar,” Najib explained.

But now, the opposition has lost the majority in the state assembly and Sultan Azlan Shah had appointed Dr Zambry who was nominated by the BN using the same approach and based on legitimate principles without breaching the democratic system and constitution.

“This transpired according to procedures in line with the Perak State Constitution and parliamentary democracy. …

A first year law student will tell you that the appointment of the MB is not based on the number of seats a party wins but the individual who in the opinion of the appointing authority commands the majority support in the House.

Article 16(2)(a) says “His Highness shall first appoint as Menteri Besar to preside over the Executive Council a member of the Legislative Assembly who in his judgement is likely to command the confidence of the majority of the members of the Assembly.”

A close scrutiny of this Article will reveal that the Sultan does not take into account the party affiliation of a member of the Assembly in consideration when appointing the Chief Executive of the State.

Theoretically, the Sultan could even consider an Independent Assemblyman for the post of Menteri Besar.

Is Najib really that ignorant of the workings of the State Constitution or is he just acting stupid?!?

Mahathir admits that he is a dictator!

The 83-year-old former BN chieftain said there was no need to hold a fresh election in Perak in order to resolve the political impasse in the state.
But he quickly added that it was a ‘forgone conclusion' that Pakatan Rakyat would win if an election is held.

"I think the opposition... well not the opposition... I think that Pakatan is going to win. So why have an election?"

Why have an election?!?! Stupid question lah!

"I withhold my opinion, in deference to the courts," he said, despite this segment of the Perak dispute is not being brought to the courts.

Asked if the Perak debacle would affect BN's chances at the polls in future, Mahathir replied: "I hope people have short memories".

St John's Chapel(over 83 years old) being threathened with 'eviction'? So much for Najib's 1 Malaysia policy!

St. John's Chapel in the small town of Triang, Pahang is now being threatened with eviction/demolition.

This chapel has been in existence legally since at least 1926. The land on which this church was built was a leasehold title, which the BN government refused to renew in 1955, but the government continued collecting quit rent until about 1966.

On 17/8/2008, some 300 over persons/residents took to the street to protest the possible future demolition of this church/chapel. Unfortunately, only the Chinese media carried reports of this protest

With astonishing speed, the Court of Appeal sat to make its decision when there are still so many older cases pending -- sometimes up to ten years!

The second thing that has astonished most people; lawyers especially; is the one-man quorum that sat to hear Zambry’s application for a stay of execution. They would have expected a minimum quorum of three judges since this case is of great public interest. But only one man sat to hear Zambry’s application and it certainly does not give an impression that Nizar saw justice done yesterday in the Appeal Court. AND THAT ONE MAN IS JUDGE RAMLY ALI!

To make things look more bias!
The Court of Appeal has fixed Monday, May 18, to hear Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin's application to set aside the stay order given by the appellate court yesterday.

Now if that is not a blatant show of unfairness, I dunno what is!

Banned Footage from the Perak State Assembly

A TV station has video footage of the dramatic moment but Malaysians did not get to see it on the orders of its owner, Media Prima (which is own by UMNO).

One of the television stations under the Media Prima group “accidently” aired the footage the next day - during deputy speaker Hee Yit Foong’s press conference, who was claiming that she did not abuse her power in taking over from Sivakumar as speaker.“The footage (of Sivakumar being dragged out) was shown in fast-forward mode, but soon after that we were instructed to write a memo to our bosses,” said the source.



So please spread the word and show everybody this injustice done by the evil BN people!!

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today called on the people of Perak to remain calm and not get carried away with the court's decision.

The Court of Appeal has granted a stay of execution on the decision of the High Court pending an appeal by Perak BN Menteri Besar Zambry Abd Kadir.
The Court of Appeal's decision has once again plunged Perak in limbo with both Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat fighting to claim power.

Court of Appeal judge Ramly Mohd Ali today heard the stay application on his own, departing from the usual practice of a three-member panel.

High Court Judge, Justice Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim

The Kuala Lumpur High Court declared that BN's Zambry Abd Kadir is not the legitimate menteri besar of Perak.

Justice Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim proclaimed Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin as the rightful Perak menteri besar. "He is, and was, at all material times the chief minister of Perak," Abdul Aziz told the court.

The judge said if the Sultan of Perak had wanted to order Nizar's resignation, he should have called the assembly to table a motion of no-confidence against PAS leader. He said that a new menteri besar could not be appointed as the office had not been vacated.

WOW!
It takes a brave man to tell whole Malaysia that the Sultan of Perak, the Former Lord Justice of the Federal Court of Malaysia was wrong!
I wonder if the UMNO goons will make a police report on this and say that the judge has committed treason!!

Zambry gets kick out!
What's more is that this judge is brave enough to kick out Zambry and his UMNO goons out of the Perak Secretariat Building!
Zambry said he would apply for a stay pending appeal but this was immediately rejected by the court. The court also ordered Zambry and the six executive councillors he had appointed to vacate their office.

Let's pay tribute to one of this rare judge in Malaysia, where unlike his other peers (like Ridwan Ibrahim) This is a man who dare to stand for justice even if it means going against the Sultan's decision and against the wrath of the evil BN party!

Riot police raided a DAP dinner in Sitiawan last night during a screening of a video on the 7 May Perak State Assembly proceedings, according to Suara Keadilan online.
One person, a video technician, was arrested.
Police confiscated “one DVD player, three projectors, two mobile screens and other equipment at the thousand-people DAP dinner,” wrote Lim Kit Siang in his blog.
The dinner was themed “Dissolve the Perak State Assembly and restore the people’s rights”. Among the speakers were V Sivakumar, Nga Kor Ming dan Ngeh Koo Ham.

I say it again! While Police waste precious resources to harass the opposition, Mat Rempit are running around wild all over Malaysia, robbing and murdering innocent citizen! Is this the style Home Minister, Hishammuddin is going to rule along with his evil BN party?!? If this guy ever become the next PM, God help us all!!

Stupid Hishamudin score another own goal!

By getting the Police to arrest Wong Chin Huat, Hishammuddin is proving to be just as dumb or even worse than Syed Hamid Alba!

Instead of scaring people from wearing black, he has just made Wong a household name over night!

Wong has been on a one man crusade to wear black for over a couple of months now. But until the police arrested him, this campaign was only receiving limited publicity!

That all change thanks to the Home Minister's stupidity! They made Wong's campaign a national success the moment they arrested him!! Hahahahha!!!

You would think that Hishammuddin would have learned a thing or two from the mistake of his predecessors right?!?

WRONG!!

Another True Malaysian Hero!

One day I hope Malaysian History text books will reflect the sacrifice of great people like Perak Assembly Speaker, Sivakumar and also Hindraf leader P Uthayakumar.

This is a man who continued to fight for the rights of his people dispict being bullied and punish unjustly by the courts!

No matter at least he is out for now. (Thanks to BN trying to cover their own ass with regards to the Perak fiasco!)

But you have got to respect Uthayakumar for his guts facing the Police force! He has the balls to refuse signing the stupid conditions of his release and also refuse to thank the police is for his release!

I agree!! Why should he thank the police/home ministry for releasing him when it is them that should be apologising to him for illegally locking him up for so many months?!?

I think Uthayakumar should sue the Home Ministry for his illegal incarceration!!

Hishamudin is proving to be a bigger S then even Syed Hamid Alba by the spat of arrest last week and allowing the police to enter the Perak assembly to drag the Speaker out!

I think it is only a matter of time before his keris comes out again!

What the real issue is amidst all the chaos!

Let me first say how disgusted (but not surprise) I am with TV3 Nightline reporting on the events that happen today!

It was totally bias to the point of outright lying! No wonder Malaysian now are no longer looking at main stream media as a credible source of national news!

Back to what happen today!
So much for 1 Malaysia plan! We have now 2 MB 2 Speaker and to Perak govt!

Police misplace priorities!
The police are no help either, being so bias and unprofessional! If only they were so effective catching Mat Rempit the way they catch all the opposition, how many lives would have been save from all the snatch thieves!

So what happen today?!?
That I leave it to you to read in other blogs and news portal. I recommend Nutgraph or Malaysiakini. They are by far the most unbias news portal (unlike TheStar and etc.)

But what is the real issue of all this mayhem?
Well it is simply that BN claims to have majority of the member of parliament (31) and the Pakatan has now only 28 MPs!

However it is not as simple as that!
Why?!? Because...
1. The courts has not rule whether the resignation of the 3 frog MPs are legitimate or not!
(meaning if it is legit, then BN would not have a majority)

2. The courts has not rule who is the official Menteri Besar.

3. The courts has not complete the corruption case face by 2 of the frogs MPs!
(meaning if the 2 frogs MPs are found guilty, there could be 2 more by-election and that means BN would not have a majority)

What will the courts decide?
Any decently inform Malaysian will tell you who the judiciary will favour already!
Are we all mind reader and fortune tellers? Of course not! But the fact that the Zambry and his BN goons are claiming to have the majority without waiting for the courts decision just proves either...

1. The judiciary is bias towards the BN! or...
2. They just don't care what the courts say!

Which is the correct answer?!? That I leave that to you!

So why are UMNO people is such a rush to gain power?!?
The answer is because they think they still can bully their way into power like in the pass.
They think a bribe here, a bribe there, an intimidation here, a blackmail there and they will get what they want!

Ha! No longer are Malaysian so weak and scare of the BN tyrants!
Today I saw many Malaysian patriots come face to face with their prosecutors and did not fear or back down! Today I saw a spirit I have never seen before in most Malaysian. And that is the selfless spirit of fighting for democracy, justice and for the future of this nation! No longer is the spirit of as long as you don't "kacau" me.... I "don't care" or the "tidak apa" attitude or don't go and find trouble attitude prevailing among the Malaysian people! And for that at least I see a silver lining in today's events!

Who needs the main stream media?!
We are also bless with modern technology that allows us to see for ourselves what really happen in the Perak assembly and do not have to rely on the government's propaganda machinery such as theStar and TV3! This will allow the younger generation to see for themselves the brutality and evil of the Barisan National government.

Pictures like Sivakumar being drag out illegally by the bias Police force may never be shown in national TV or newspaper. But then again, who needs them anymore!

We have Nutgraph and Malaysiakini and etc now!

So where do we go from here?!?
Whatever happens, whatever the courts decide, eventually..... one thing we must do as God fearing, patriotic Malaysian, and that is to REMEMBER!

Remember the injustice and the fall of our democratic system in the hands of the BN govt!
Remember the sacrifice and the valiant fight of all the DAP, PAS and Keadilan's MPs!
Remember how strong and courageous Speaker Sivakumar had to be in the face of imminent danger and bodily harm.
Remember how horrible you felt, seeing this injustice happening and that there was nothing you could do about it!
Remember all this and come out in full force to help campaign, vote and donate money to make sure BN never has a chance to rape you of your choice and democracy again!

BN scared of the Rakyat!
The BN govt may not dare to give the rakyat a choice to choose we want as the Perak govt today. The BN govt may be able to hide behind the Sultan of Perak for now.
But they cannot do that forever! Sooner or later we will have our say once again!
And when that day comes....... REMEMBER and shout!!! (through your votes) as loud as you can. And show just exactly what we think of the BN govt, the Police Force, the Election Commission and the Judiciary!!!


Final Note:
Can this Ganesan guy (who is not even an MP because we was voter out by the Perak Rakyat) actually be allowed to be the Speaker?!? He is not even an MP! This is another example of BN govt bring in another loser (a leader rejected by the rakyat) into the govt. This is a blatant disrespect of the rakyat's wishes!

Why did they (BN) do it?!? Because if they use one of their current MP to be a speaker, they will loose another vote in the Perak assembly. This is because, speaker of the house cannot vote!!

3 Arrests for sending Altantuya’s birthday cake to Najib!
The group comprise of activists, all of whom are from the Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia went to PM Najib Tun Razak’s office to send a cake to remind him of Altantuya Shariibuu’s birthday.

However the Putrajaya OCPD Razak himself ‘turun padang” to arrest these people (3 of them). Wow! Putrajaya OCPD nothing better to do ah?!? His small minions cannot handle such a small case meh?!?

The big joke is that the cake, was “squashed” by the police for SECURITY REASONS!

Hei! What was he worried about?!? C4 in the cake isiit?!?! Hahahahaha!!!

And I thought one of Najib's new direction was to be more open to critisim and not be a govt that "knows best"!

Changling! A true story on police corruption and power!

Recently I had a chance to watch this movie directed by Clint Eastwood and staring Angelina Jolie!

It is a very good movie and a true story about American police corruption, pride and stupidity back in the 1920s era!

Pretty much like what we Malaysian are facing in to 21st Century!!
This true story has scary similarities to our Atlantuya, ISA, Kugan's case

The movie has a decently happy ending due to the fact that the judiciary and some police were still people of integrity!

Unfortunately I don't know if we can same thing for our country!

Go watch the movie! I highly recommend it!

A true Malaysian Hero!

Perak state assembly speaker V Sivakumar must be hailed as a true Malaysian Hero!!
This is a man that is going to single handedly stop Zambry and his evil BN dictators from officially taking over the Perak govt!

How is he going to do it?!? You can read it in Malaysiakini or I have sum it up here.

1. Sivakumar can orders for the removal of members from the state assembly (including Zambry and gang) because he has suspended them. Whether or not the sergeant-at-arms, a serving police officer, follows his orders is another story lah!

2. Standing Orders 2, allows the speaker can change sitting arrangements “as he may think fit” and his decision on such matters “shall be final”.

By convention, the government of the day would sit to the right of the speaker and the seat of the menteri besar would be closest to the speaker. Sivakumar does not recognise Zambry as the menteri besar, and the sitting arrangement may result in Zambry losing his privileges and priorities accorded to the menteri besar in the House.

3. Standing orders still grants the speaker the right to reject any motions at his discretion. This include the motions of no confidence in the Speaker!

This makes Sivakumar a very valuable man to both BN and PKR! The fact that he has not jump ship, resign or even having scandal and accusation thrown at him is simply incredible!

This reflects the integrity and character of this man! BN simply cannot bribe him or dig dirt against him! He is really a true Malaysian Hero!!

ANOTHER TRUE MALAYSIAN HERO is... Sunway Lecturer and one of Malaysia's brightest young political analysis, Wong Chin Huat.

He was arrested under the Sedition Act. Police has so for refuse to say why he was arrested under the Sedition Act or who was the one who lodge the police report against him!!

This is the first major action of Hishammudin as Home Minister really proves that Najib is only talking rubbish about his 1 Malaysia plan! Where is the govt that is more open to criticism?!?

I ask you! Who are the true Malaysian heroes and who are the true Malaysian evil tyrants!

How can Najib be trusted!

As the new PM, Najib has been trying to revamp he and his party's image. He talk about 1 Malaysia, talk about being more open, talk about not being a govt that knows all .

But who in their right mind in Malaysia believes them as long as their action prove otherwise?!?

Look at their latest media prosecution!

Perak State Information Dept will only allow 13 media groups to cover the entire Perak assembly from May 7 to 13.

The 13 listed are television stations RTM and BernamaTV, TV3 and newspapers The Star, New Straits Times, Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia, China Press, Sin Chew Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau, Tamil Namban, Tamil Nesan and national news agency Bernama.

They also limited the number of media workers to two people from each organisation: one reporter and the other a photographer.
The only exceptions made were to state-owned television stations RTM, BernamaTV and Umno-linked private station TV3, which are allowed to send in three people each.

So much for a more open govt!
At least now we know which news organisation are working for the BN slave master!

Can't help but think he has lost it when I read this!

As I read more I realise he wasn't talking about the integrity and independence of the judiciary but the efficiency of it!

Well I am just glad I don't have to find out if what he say is true but when he said...

"Our ability to overcome obstacles will also make us respected not only in the country but also worldwide."

I still think he is delusional! I mean how many Malaysian out there still have any respect or trust in our judiciary?!?
