I wish they will make up their minds!
UMNO tells Malays that if opposition wins, then DAP will control PAS and they will loose their rights!
MCA tells non-Malays that if opposition wins, then PAS will control DAP and turn the country into an Islamic State!
WHICH IS WHICH LAH!
But Mahathir has already declared Malaysia as an Islamic State already! So why didn't MCA say something about it then?
Almost 11 years ago, Tun Dr Mahathir said very loudly and clearly: Malaysia is already an Islamic country. Country, state, nation, nation-state, kingdom, republic, or whatever, it all means the same. The long and the short of it: Malaysia is already an Islamic country. That was what Tun Dr Mahathir announced almost 11 years ago.
So why is the MCA youth secretary-general, Chai Kim Sen, now announcing that DAP wants to help PAS set up an Islamic State? Malaysia, according to Tun Dr Mahathir, is already an Islamic state, country, nation, nation-state, or whatever. How can you turn an already Islamic State into an Islamic State? Aiyah, can you see how bad Chinese mother-tongue education can be? It makes idiots out of these Chinese politicians.
If Malaysia is not yet an Islamic State, contrary to what Tun Dr Mahathir said almost 11 years ago, why did MCA keep quiet then? Why did MCA not foam at the mouth and call Tun Dr Mahathir a liar 11 years ago? Why only now, 11 year later, make so much noise?
What the former Lord President, Tun Salleh Abas, said back in 2002 is another interesting point. The Barisan Nasional government trapped itself when it declared that Malaysia is an Islamic state, said Tun Salleh.
"The statement has trapped BN and Umno. If they think Malaysia is an Islamic country, then why do they object against PAS' attempt to implement Islamic laws? If this is an Islamic State they should support the implementation of Islamic laws," he told Malaysiakini in an exclusive interview. (Read the Malaysiakini interview below).
That’s right. If Malaysia is already an Islamic State then why whack PAS? How can you accuse PAS of trying to turn Malaysia into an Islamic State, with the help of DAP according to MCA, if Malaysia is already an Islamic State?
There appears to be some confusion here. Well, actually there is no confusion. It is just that the politicians are trying to confuse us. They are hoping that we are stupid just like them and that we will not detect the lies and spins in what they are saying. That is all it is: lies and spins.
Either Malaysia is already an Islamic State or it is not. If it is, then MCA is lying. If it is not, then Tun Dr Mahathir was lying. The bottom line is, one of the two were lying. So who is lying: Tun Dr Mahathir or MCA?
Anyway, why are the kafir from MCA talking about Islam? Isn’t Islam a matter for the Muslims to sort out? Did not the Crown Prince of Perak say a few days ago that there should not be any debate/argument on Islam? And that means the kafir from MCA as well. You mean to say that Muslims like me must not talk about Islam while thekafir laknat from MCA can talk about Islam? Where got road one?
MCA is making Islam sound like it is something bad. Islam, Communism, Al Qaedah, Taliban, Jews, Israel, the IRA, corruption, AIDS, gays, porn, prostitution, China Dolls, free sex…they are all put into the same box. Isn’t it time that Islam not be treated as the pariah of society? When you want to whack someone you say he or she is gay, immoral, corrupted, a prostitute, or an Islamist.
If MCA is so against Islam or an Islamic State then they should have spoken up 11 years ago. They should have either protested when Tun Dr Mahathir announced that Malaysia is already an Islamic State or they should have called him a liar.
The Islamic State issue is a basi issue lah! Most Malaysians no longer buy this argument. Most Malaysians no longer care a damn. Most Malaysians are not worried whether the government cuts off the hands of thieves when those who will lose their hands would be the corrupt police officers, civil servants and politicians from Barisan Nasional. In fact, most of the leaders and ex-leaders of MCA would be the ones walking around without hands.
Bring on Hudud. I have no problems with it. I do not steal the rakyat’s money. It is the politicians who do. I am even prepared to volunteer to do the hand chopping. Chop, chop, chop…I just love Hudud. Thieves and corrupt politicians beware.
This is what they do to robbers and corrupt officials/politicians in China

‘DAP will help PAS set up Islamic state’
DAP’s real agenda is to pave the way for PAS to establish a hardline Islamic state, MCA youth secretary-general Datuk Chai Kim Sen said.
He said the statement by DAP Youth chief Anthony Loke Siew Fook that Pakatan Rakyat could win 120 parliamentary seats in the coming general election to form the next federal government was in fact a cover for PAS to establish an Islamic state.
“It is an undisputable fact that should Pakatan Rakyat control Putrajaya, religion-based policies will follow soon after.
“PAS has already stated repeatedly that it will gradually implement Islamic policies once it has control over the Federal Government,” he said in a statement.
Chai said this is not the first time that the DAP has helped to boost support for PAS by hiding the truth.
He said the DAP’s plan to place Pakatan Rakyat in Putrajaya was actually an agenda to control the decision-making process to allow PAS to fulfil its ambitions of an Islamic state.
“DAP knows that should they control the Federal Government, Islamisation by PAS is inevitable, and the more they cover up the truth, the more the facts will be exposed,” he said. -- The Star, 5 April 2012

BN trapped itself with Islamic state declaration: Salleh Abas
The Barisan Nasional government trapped itself when it declared that Malaysia is an Islamic state, said former Lord President Tun Salleh Abas.
"The statement has trapped BN and Umno. If they think Malaysia is an Islamic country, then why do they object against PAS' attempt to implement Islamic laws? If this is an Islamic state they should support the implementation of Islamic laws," he told malaysiakini in an exclusive interview.
He said Umno put itself in a 'Catch-22' situation when Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced on Sept 29 last year that Malaysia is an Islamic state. "I think they got caught with the statement to counter DAP's claim that Malaysia is a secular country."
Asked if Malaysia is an Islamic or secular state, Salleh replied that the country was currently a secular state.
"At the moment, we live in a secular country. The Federal Constitution and the laws state clearly that we are living in a secular state.
"However, it is right to say that Malaysia is an Islamic country, population wise, because the majority of her citizens are Muslims. But it is wrong to say that we have an Islamic government," he said.

Greatest revelations of 2012! It is a real no brainer!!!

Meet the man who is above the law in Malaysia!
The global settlement between several GLCs and former Malaysian Airlines chairperson Tajudin Ramli is proof that the federal government manages the economy with imprudence, said DAP information chief Tony Pua.
In a statement today, Pua said the government’s willingness to reach a settlement showed that large scale leakages and corruption will continue unabated because of cronyism and lack of accountability.
“If there are billions of ringgits of losses in Port Klang Free Zone project had seen former Transport Minister Dr Ling Liong Sik and Chan Kong Choy being charged for misleading the cabinet, surely former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Daim Zainuddin must be similarly investigated for possibly providing illegal guarantee and indemnity of their cronies,” he said,
Pua, who is also Petaling Jaya Utara MP, said minister in the prime minister's department, Idris Jala, had repeatedly warned of possiblebankruptcy within seven years if we fail to manage our finances carefully.
“The question is should BN (be allowed) to continue to rule after the next two elections, then what Idris had warned might just come true,” he said in a statement.
Idris had warned in 2010 that he does not want the country to be another Greece, by 2019 if the people do not swallow subsidy cuts that will see the price of petrol, food, electricity and other staples rise.
Yesterday, Tajudin had withdrew his appeal at the Court of Appeal over his counter-claim and settled the long-standing case.
However, the terms of the settlement was not disclosed despite the Kuala Lumpur High Court had in Dec 2009 ordered Tajudin to pay RM589 million to Pengurusan Danaharta Bhd and its two subsidiaries which manages the debt.
Settlement involves writing off debt
Pua revealed that the terms of the settlement involves the government and Danaharta being instructed to settle the suits at the appellate court by completely writing off the outstanding debt of RM589 million on Tajudin.
“From my sources, I can confirm that the debt has been completely written off as part of the settlement. I knew about it from inside sources. The settlement caused an immediate loss of RM589 million,” he told Malaysiakini.
He said the government must disclose why it has decided to write off the debt when the court ordered it to pay, and who is ultimately responsible for the losses.
“Tajudin has now gotten off scot free from his court-ordered obligations to pay back to Danaharta, an agency 100 percent owned by the ministry of finance amounting to a whopping loss of RM589.15 million, excluding interest.
He said Danaharta’s claims are based on claims that Tajudin had defaulted on a syndicated loan of RM1.79 billion when he took a 32 percent controlling stake in Malaysia Airlines (MAS) from the government in 1994.
Tajudin in his RM13 billion counter-suit claimed he was never meant to be personally liable for the loan as the government had agreed to indemnify him of any liability that arose from his acquisitions of MAS shares from Bank Negara.
The former MAS chairperson also claimed that Mahathir and Daim, “instructed” him to pay RM8 per share for MAS when the market price was around RM3.50.
The High Court had in December 2009, ruled in favour of Danaharta and its two subsidiaries and ordered Tajudin to pay the RM589 million. The same court had struck out Tajudin’s counter-claim.
“Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak who is also finance minister must immediately explain why the BN government is writing off the entire debt and letting Tajudin off scot free without even defending itself in the Court of Appeal.
“The decision smacks of sinister motives, especially since the government has already won its case in the High Court. The decision of the BN government proves that it is intent on letting off its cronies easily, despite having caused hundreds of millions of ringgit loss to the government.
“Where is Najib’s ‘new economic model’ where Najib declared to foreign investors that ‘the behaviour of rent-seeking and patronage will no longer be tolerated’. Or is the settlement a result of the government’s agreement with Tajudin defence that he is completely indemnified by Mahathir and Daim from having to bear any responsibility for losses?” he asked.
Pua said if the latter is the main reason, Najib must immediately take action against both Mahathir and Daim, for not only gross negligence but having wilfully provided guarantees and indemnity to Tajudin in the privatisation of MAS.

Opps! Mahathir let it slip!
"I find that many view (BN) as disgusting and that they openly state their rejection of the BN.
"If we analyse this, we find this is because we no longer struggle to form the government, but to reap personal benefits," Mahathir said.Besides flashing their wealth by suddenly building "RM7 or RM8 million houses", which they previously could not afford, elected representatives also felt the need to "buy support".
Speaking at a BN State Assembly Backbenchers Club event, Mahathir said BN representatives said they needed to "get contracts and raise their income" as "their supporters demand money".

Is Tan Sri Tajudding Ramli protected by the BN Govt?!?
When Tajudin Ramli took over MAS, the national airline company had RM600 million in cash reserves. When he left MAS seven years later, the national airline company had a hole of RM8 billion, a gap of about RM9 billion!!!!
Both ended up being hauled into court against trumped-up charges. While Tajudin remained free and still extremely wealthy, Ramli lost his job and his shot at being the next IGP while Rosli lost his clients.

Private varsity 'squanders' RM100 mil gov't grant

In fact, said its chief executive Leong Choon Heng, the university is now down to "less than RM10 million" and is forced to take aggressive cost-cutting measures to keep afloat. He was responding to queries afterMalaysiakini received a tip-off on the situation. Founded in 2001 by senator and former cabinet minister Effendi Norwawi, the Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST) was supposed to be a premier postgraduate university in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The university had received the money in instalments between January 2001 and 2006, via the MUST Ehsan Foundation. Effendi has been a trustee of the foundation since 2001. But 10 years on, the university is far from even meeting its 2007 target of 500 students, with only 207 enrolled. Furthermore, most of these students are undergraduates who were enrolled to boost the numbers after an all-time low of 10 students in 2007. During the tenure of former chief executive Omar Abdul Rahman, who resigned in March and was once advisor of science and technology to then premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the university did not acquire much physical assets.
The university has always been located in office lots in Kelana Square, as initial plans to build a campus through MUST Ehsan Development was shelved. MUST Ehsan Development - a subsidiary of the public-listed Encorp Group founded by Effendi - was supposed to develop the land surrounding the designated site of the campus in Shah Alam. The revenue from this was to be used to fund the construction of the campus and other university activities. MUST Ehsan Development has a portfolio of projects worth RM800 million, including the mixed-development project dubbed the Strand in Kota Damansara. However, it has nothing to do with the Foundation or MUST. Malaysiakini contacted Effendi about two weeks ago as a key representative of the previous management, but he has yet to respond to the issues raised. Where the money went Leong, who took over management about three months ago, said most of the grant was spent to finance the students and to recruit faculty members from leading universities abroad. “From 2002-2006, a sizeable amount of the grant was spent on scholarships and stipend for the pioneer batch of students. The majority needed more than three semesters to graduate, as the MIT curriculum was very demanding,” he said. To date 107 students have graduated under the MUST-MIT programme, which expired in 2004.
This number, said Leong who is also a faculty member, is “a normal figure for post-graduate programmes, as with public universities of similar size over a similar time period”. The university has lab equipment, books and office equipment and three Proton Perdana cars - all of which once cost millions of ringgit but have now depreciated severely in value. Malaysiakini understands that MUST has been paying rental for about 30 rooms, which it had never used since opening its doors. It is understood that millions of ringgit have been spent on renovations to the premises.
To cut costs and revive the university, the new management team is letting go of several of the four floors it has been renting. “We've let go of floors and rooms which we have never used and are in the midst of gradually moving to the Strand, which we feel will give us a better profile as there are other colleges located there,” said Leong. Letting go of these rooms is expected to return some RM60,000 to the university's bank account. The management will channel this to “aggressive marketing”, in the hope of attracting more students. Leong added that the rental for the new premises, owned by MUST Ehsan Development, is expected to be “the same or better” than the sum currently being paid. For now at least, the Higher Education Ministry is giving MUST another chance to turn things around, even though the university does not meet the minimum of RM20 million paid-up capital that is required of private universities. “MUST is undergoing a rebranding exercise under new management (and) is now also offering undergraduate degree and diploma courses,” explained Mohd Najib Masrom, the ministry's senior assistant director of the private higher education management sector, by email. The licence for MUST to run its foundation programme is pending renewal. The university licence will expire in 2012. It is understood that such permits are worth several million ringgit.

More ridicules judgement from Judges in Malaysia!
Chief Ju
dge of Malaya Justice Arifin Zakaria (left)said this morning that the grounds of judgment do not constitute part of a judgment.Judges have wide discretion to write their grounds of judgment either in the national language Bahasa Malaysia or English.
Quoting the Law Lexicon, he said the reasons for judgment are not themselves judgments though they may furnish the court's reasons for the decision and thus form a precedent.
“Thus it is clear that 'judgment' must be distinguished from 'reasons for judgment' or what we commonly refer to as grounds of judgment,” he said.
He nonetheless declared that the court views seriously the use of the national language in courts.
Justice Arifin also cited a 1990 circular by former Chief Judge of Malaya, Justice Hashim Yeop Sani, directing judges and judicial commissioners of the High Courts, Session Courts and Magistrate's Courts to submit to him at least one written grounds of judgment in the national language each month.
This was to identify problems arising out of the implementation of the use of the national language in courts.
“This circular reinforces our view that judges indeed have a discretion to deliver the grounds of judgment either in the national language or the English language,” said Justice Arifin.
“For the above reasons we hold that it is not contrary to Article 152 (of the federal constitution) and Section 8 of the National Language Act.”
Following the decision - which led to the appeal being struck out - Arifin ordered Anwar to pay costs of RM70,000, although Mahathir's lawyer VK Lingam had applied for RM100,000.
Lingam said he had to prepare more than 6,000 pages of documentation with two other lawyers.
He further said a benchmark must be set for leave applications in Federal Court cases, citing a decision where the apex court had agreed to award RM100,000. Karpal asked for costs be set at RM20,000.
Anwar appeared rese
ntful of the decision."He (Lingam) is a multi-millionaire. I lost the case. He is Mahathir's lawyer, so how can we win?" he said outside the court room.
His lawyer Karpal Singh said he would consider filing a review.
Arifin led a three-member panel also comprising Federal Court judge Justice James Foong and Court of Appeal judge Justice Suriyadi Halim Omar.
Constitutional issue
Karpal had raised a novel constitutional issue at the apex court on Sept 27, when he said all written judgments should be in Bahasa Malaysia.
This was in the preliminary objection after the Court of Appeal dismissed Anwar's appeal last December on the grounds that it was not submitted in the national language. Ironically, the court's judgment itself was rendered in English.
Karpal then asked the apex court to compel the Court of Appeal to write its judgment in Bahasa Malaysia, after which Anwar's appeal application could proceed.
“Most of the written judgments in civil or criminal cases are in English at all levels of the court,” he said.
“Hence, this brings into question the validity in the jurisdiction of all those judgments which are written in English.”
Karpal said Section 8 of the National Language Act states that all proceedings (other than the giving of evidence) in the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, the High Court or any subordinate court shall be in the national language.
“This provision also applies to judges, as this does not provide them with the exception of writing judgments in English,” he said.
Section 8 also says the court may either of its own motion or on the application of any party to any proceedings - and after considering the interests of justice in those proceedings - order that the proceedings (other than the giving of evidence by a witness) shall be partly in the national language and partly in the English language.
The lawyer was attempting to turn the tables on Court of Appeal judge, Justice Abdul Malik Ishak, who in dismissing Anwar's appeal, had said all court documents must be in the national language because the supremacy of Bahasa Malaysia is enshrined in the federal constitution.
Justice Malik, who ironically wrote the judgment in English, said Article 152 of the constitution, read together with the National Language Act, states that all proceedings other than the giving of evidence shall be in the national language.

Mahathir admits that he is a dictator!
The 83-year-old former BN chieftain said there was no need to hold a fresh election in Perak in order to resolve the political impasse in the state. But he quickly added that it was a ‘forgone conclusion' that Pakatan Rakyat would win if an election is held.
"I think the opposition... well not the opposition... I think that Pakatan is going to win. So why have an election?"
Why have an election?!?! Stupid question lah!
Have an election so that the will and aspiration of the people of Perak can be fulfill lah!
That is what we call democracy lah! From his own mouth, Mahathir has admitted that he knows what the people of Perak wants but choose to ignore it for the sake of keeping BN in power!
Does this not prove that his old man is a dictator?!?
Mahathir also refused to share his opinions on whether Pakatan's V Sivakumar was legally removed as the state assembly speaker and replaced with BN's R Ganesan.
"I withhold my opinion, in deference to the courts," he said, despite this segment of the Perak dispute is not being brought to the courts.
Asked if the Perak debacle would affect BN's chances at the polls in future, Mahathir replied: "I hope people have short memories".
Sorry Mr ExPM! We the people of Malaysia will never forget the evil things you and BN has done to this country! You and UMNO has rape and plunder the wealth of the nation, the sanctity of the judiciary, legislative and police force, and most importantly you have robbed us or our democracy! We will never forget! We the new generation of Malaysian will never forget and we will make sure you will never forget in the next general election!!
