We are in trouble if we have military intelligence like this!

From Malaysiakini
If public opinion was a battle the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) had to fight, the two Scorpene submarines would be sitting at the bottom of the sea by now, submerged for good.

NONEAdding to the submarines' infamy, the RM3.4 billion procurement according to the RMN, was a move to prevent a repeat of the ‘1511 episode' when the Portuguese invaded Malacca.

RMN chief Laksamana Abdul Aziz Jaafar said he was confident of the capability of the two French-made submarines in protecting Malaysia's sovereignty.

Here's a collection of posts in social media reacting to the statement:

John Ng Mc: It took the government 501 years after the Portuguese attack on Malacca to buy the two submarines. That must be the biggest joke of all time, what would our government think of next?

We are already an international laughing stock with many a policy, this time around other countries will laugh their eyes to tears. We really have leaders with childish brains, giving childish answers.

Kai Fan: Who the hell would want to attack Malacca today? There's nothing in Malacca worth invading, except chicken rice balls.

Steven Lee: The Straits of Malacca is narrow and shallow, and submarines are useless in these conditions.

American submarines had to remain surfaced when traversing the Straits. This is also the reason that Malaysian submarines are based on the east coast and East Malaysia.

Assuming that someone wants to invade the west coast by sea, the submarines can't do anything to stop the invasion. This admiral is really talking nonsense and an idiot to think that people will believe him.

OneJohn Smith: Kidding, right? No one is fighting/invading over spice routes anymore.

D-man Wong: Better buy some motorcycles too as the Japanese will come down by bicycle.

John Goh Hong Leong: Might as well say buy now and wait for a time machine (to be invented), then send them back to 1511 and destroy the Portuguese armada before they attack Malacca.

Aarif Iman Abdullah: Which idiot came up with that? Come on! That was some 500 years ago.

Tan Shiaw Uen: Seriously? Who else except the Americans will start a war? And if America attacks us, do you think that with the two subs that couldn't submerge (are going to) protect the poor port?

Lee Choong Sing: If we have people of this calibre and mentality helming RMN, we (will) lose the war before it even starts.

Ruben Ruben: Our military is rated one of the best in the world because of our guerilla warfare style.

The battle of Mogadishu saw our elite special forces saving the American helicopter pilots as depicted in ‘Black Hawk Down', thought the movie did not really portray our armed forces.

Why bring politics into the picture? It's embarrassing. Those hardcore soldiers don't need to be mixed in this soup. No sane general would actually use 1511 as a reason (for the submarines).

Benjamin Woo: I was laughing to myself when reading this.

Hello! If we are going to be invaded again, it'll take more than two little submarines to stop them, and it won't take three days as well.

Soo Ching Pin: We know the real reason was to prevent the poverty of certain parties in the submarine deal.

Fadzly AG: The foreign army only needs to send intercontinental ballistic missiles to attack us. Those subs are useless indeed.

Raymond Soosai: Two subs can't even detect Indonesians crossing over to Malaysia daily, and we want to worry about invasion already.

Ng Jiunn Jye: In my memory of Malacca's history, we lost because Sultan Mahmud Shah was busy dreaming to win the heart of Puteri Gunung Ledang. Lack of leadership. Just like what we have today.

Patrick Khoo: The subs arrived 500 years too late. Malaysia boleh?

Yong Leng Kee: In 21st century, any invader will likely attack from air, and in less than 24 hours, the game will be over. What is the use of the subs?

Lie Tiong Lie lies again!??

First it was lying about the Bersih 2.0 incident about the Police not shooting into the Hospital
Then it was about the Kedai Rakyat 1 Malaysia scandal.

Now he top it off with paying RM20,000.00 for a number plate!
Just when I thought BN Minister (such as this guy!) couldn't get any dumber!

His President comes in to defend him with an even dumber ("left hand to the right hand") defense.
Someone should teach him about simple economic principal such a "opportunity cost".
If left hand gives right hand, that means the govt does not earn the potential RM20,000.00 lah!

From Malaysiakini

Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai was today overwhelmed by a barrage of questions over his RM24,200 bid for the WWW15 vehicle number-plate, which at times left him fumbling for answers.
At a press conference at the MCA headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Liow said he was unsure who had forked out the money, but was certain that his ministry did not foot the bill.

NONEWhile claiming that he did not place importance on specific digits, he struggled for answers when asked why such large sum of money was spent for the number-plate.

He skirted the question and said he did not know what the cost was when the bid was made.

Liow repeatedly stressed his "eligibility" as a minister to obtain such number-plates and that his officers and Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers had handled the matter.

Occasionally, MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek had to step in to assist his deputy, explaining that the money was just going "from the left hand to the right hand" as all the money goes to a government consolidated fund from all ministries.

Liow yesterday defended the bid, saying his ministry was replacing his official car and there was a need for a new number-plate.
Earlier today, Chinese newspaper Sin Chew Daily had quoted an unnamed officer as saying that the Treasury has never allocated any funds for ministers to submit bids for a number-plate for their official cars.

Excerpts follow of the dialogue between Liow and reporters; these have been edited for language and brevity:

Journalist: Who paid the bid for the number-plate?

Liow: I mentioned yesterday that this is a government official car, and so ministers are eligible to have one number-plate, so the process is official.

We are just going through the office and applying to the JPJ. JPJ is the one which processes the application.

Journalist: Is the ministry paying the bill? Who paid for this?

Liow: No. No. It’s all up to JPJ to handle this, we leave it to JPJ ..

Journalist: But who paid the cost, I know the process is handled by JPJ but who paid the cost?

Liow: I got to check, I’m not sure, it’s under JPJ.

Journalist: That means you didn’t pay to bid for that particular...

Liow: Like I said, ministers are eligible for one number, so I didn’t exercise the option earlier, so since my ministry is changing the car, so they just changed it.

Journalist: So you are saying your officer handled this?

Liow: Yes.

Chua: Usually this option is given to members of the administration both at state and federal (levels). So when you are in exco, you are entitled to officially bid for a number, or the state government will give you a number.

Journalist: Does that mean that when you are allowed to bid, you have to use your own money?

Chua: No, the government allows you to allocate a number, you can ask for a number. Of course, you cannot go and bid (for) number one lah.

Journalist: I’m referring to a Sin Chew report today, they interviewed an official from the Ministry of Finance, they said there is no such allocation for (any) ministry...

Liow: There’s no need for allocation, it’s the eligibility of the minister [sic]. There’s no need for allocation at all.

But numbers to me are not important, I think most important is the service to people. For us, it is more important to carry out work efficiently.

Any number, I’m using (words inaudible) my car is using any number ... it’s not important to me. So doesn’t matter whether I get the 15, or 200 or 1,000. It doesn’t matter to me. More important thing is the official car and we can use the car to serve the people.

Journalist: Why use your own name to bid?

Liow: Well I’m the minister of health...

Journalist: Is that a normal practice?

Liow: It’s a normal practice, yes, maybe it creates a lot of confusion; it’s better that I clarify and let the public know.

Journalist: Was it worth it to (spend) RM20,000 for a number-plate?

Liow: No, because we do not know the cost. For me, when I applied we did not know the cost. It just happened that I need the numbers, I need the car that’s all. I did not know the cost.

Journalist: But normally when we bid we need to pay to bid, right?

Liow: No, as explained earlier, this is the eligibility of a minister [sic], official car, that’s all. Even Lim Guan Eng has one of this kind of official car. So every… either state or federal as explained by my (MCA) president just now…

Chua: At the state level, the excos are also entitled to one car, err, to a number.

Journalist: Does the number 15 mean anything special to you?

Liow: (Pauses) Well, just because my grandfather is using this number (on his car). Nothing special, there’s no special meaning to this number. It is just a number. That’s why I said ... to this number, it’s nothing special.

Journalist: But if it's nothing special, then no need to bid for the number-plate ..

Liow: Nothing special, I just need a number.

Journalist: Can be any number what ...

Liow: [word inaudible] That’s why I said, it can be any number, it can be any number, so I just choose the number and that’s it.

Journalist: But you don’t have to spend so much money on this number if any (number) is okay.

Liow: I’m okay with any number, yes.

Journalist: But then, why spend RM24,000 on this particular bid?

Liow: No, just because it just happens that I need to change the car, that’s why I need a number.

Journalist: Why not retain the number-plate from the previous car?

Liow: No, they’ve changed (to) the new car, the old car is still there, I cannot change the number.

Chua: Those are official cars, those numbers don’t belong to him actually.

Journalist: What happens to those old official cars?

Chua: Another person will use it, he cannot just transfer the number just like that.

[Questions shift to the recent Merdeka Centre poll which revealed that the approval rating for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had dipped, because of a plunge in Chinese support]

Journalist: Back to the car number-plate - some processes to clarify. What you are trying to say is if you buy a new car, you must bid for a new number-plate, you cannot use an old number-plate for a new car...

Liow: Because that’s old official car, I... umm, I’m, I’m…

Chua: You must understand, when it’s a ministry car, the car does not belong to him, you understand or not?

Journalist: Now that the number has been allocated, the RM24,200 comes from the ministry?

Liow: No, no, no, not allocated by ministry.

Journalist:Then where does it come from?

Chua: This is a question of the money from the left hand going to the right hand. Because all money goes to the government consolidated fund from any ministry.

Journalist: So you’re saying its just one ministry to another department?

Chua: Ahh... it’s just left hand to right, to be honest.

Journalist: Can I say number 15 is your favourite number?

Liow: I said earlier any number will do, I have no specific numbers. It just happened that I chose 15 - it doesn’t mean that it’s the favourite number.

Another stupid law pass in the middle of the night!

Apparently this law was also pass in the darkness of the night!

I wonder why?

(May 20, 2012): The recently passed Evidence (Amendment) (No 2) Act 2012, whereby internet users are held liable for any content posted through their registered networks or data processing device, is both unfair and an attempt to put fear in people, says civil society.
The amended law will have serious repercussions on internet use as the owner of the site or device is presumed guilty and has to fight to prove his innocence, they say.
What this means is, if an anonymous person posts content said to be offensive on your Facebook wall, or if someone piggybacks your WiFi account and uploads a controversial document, you will be immediately deemed the publisher of the content and subject to prosecution under the relevant laws such as the Sedition Act.
Not only that, if a person starts a blog in your name and publishes content that is red-flagged, you will be considered the publisher unless you can prove otherwise.

Does someone have to die first before Najib says something?

Useless PM! No Leadership! Does he condone political violence or not?

19 May 2012 - Slipping out of national consciousness since last year’s by-election, the small town of Merlimau, Malacca was thrust back into the limelight last Saturday following a fracas where opposition assemblypersons were attacked with stones and eggs.

perkasa tibai umno red shirt in merlimau malacca ambiga event car pelted with eggsAccording to Malacca PAS commissioner Adly Zahari, the flashpoint was when an Indian woman started speaking at the high-tea event, triggering a “gatecrash” attempt by protesters.

The roughly 200 people, mostly youths, protested against the presence of Bersih co-chairperson Ambiga Sreneevasan at Taman Seri Merlimau for a high-tea event organised by the local PAS Supporters Club.

21 May 2012 -  A Pakatan Rakyat ceramah in a community hall in Pekan Bangi, Selangor was disrupted on Monday night by a group of alleged stone-throwing thugs.

NONESerdang MP Teo Nie Ching (right) said in a press release that the incident happened at about 11pm when PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu took the stage.

Teo, who was among the speakers at the event, said that a group of about 30 people started pelting stones and taunting the security detail at the event.

This resulted in the windows of one vehicle being damaged.

Contacted for details, Serdang PAS division deputy chief Mazwan Johar said there were no injuries.

He noted that apart from the car, other casualties included a big banner for the event and two PAS flags which were burnt.

24 May 2012 - Stones and eggs were again thrown at a Pakatan Rakyat ceramah, causing one senior citizen to suffer injuries to the head.

The man was bleeding from his head and barely conscious when taken away to seek medical attention.

pantai dalam kerinchi pkr 240512The incident happened at about 11pm, when PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim was speaking at a ceramah at Apartment Pantai Permai, Kuala Lumpur, which is within the PKR-held constituency of Lembah Pantai.

According to eyewitnesses, the projectile was hurled into the crowd from an Umno function at the Pantai Dalam Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) quarters next door.

Despite the disruptions, the ceramah was able to proceed as participants remained calm and allowed Anwar to finish his speech.

Another projectile victims was 12-year-old Nurul Balqis, who was struck by a fist-sized flying brick on her wrist.

Following the ugly incidents, a group of PKR supporters marched towards some 200 Umno supporters, who are no more than 20 meters away, while police rushed in to intervene.

However, with only a brick-and-mortar fence separating the opposing groups, the PKR supporters continued to be pelted with stones and water bottles for some time.

Earlier, at about 9pm, some 80 people in red shirts gathered outside the PKR ceramah venue and chanted "Tibai (whack)", which is the acronym of a newly formed anti-Anwar group.

25 May 2012 - Vandals struck at an opposition ceramah again, this time at an event featuring former Perak MB Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin in Kuals Kangsar, at which 11 cars were splashed with blue paint.

NONEThe Bukit Gantang MP said he was addressing an audience of about 400 at a PAS ceramah in Kampung Sayong Lembah in Kuala Kangsar yesterday when he received a slip of paper informing him of the incident.

“I was told that the cars were splashed with blue paint. The paint was splashed mostly on the headlights,” Nizar (left) told Malaysiakini when contacted.

The organisers and the owners of the vehicles have lodged police reports on the matter, he said.

One of the organisers, who did not want to be named, said prior to that paint spalshing, a small group of motorcyclists disrupted the ceramah.

NONE“An Umno ceramah was also going, on about 200m from our venue. Just before Nizar arrived, some of those from Umno were revving their motorcycle engines,” said the Kuala Kangsar PAS member.

“Just before the ceramah started about 9pm, they were stopping people on the way there and asking if they were attending the Umno ceramah or PAS’,” he added.

He claimed that the Umno members were “trying to provoke” those who were coming to the PAS ceramah.

25 May 2012 - Pakatan leaders moved on to the second and last ceramah of the night in Pasir Gudang - about 90 minutes west of Pengerang - three vehicles suddenly appeared on the highway and attempted to bump Anwar's car off the road, claimed Tian Chua.

"A few cars tried to cut off Anwar's vehicle and created a dangerous situation, our vehicles had to move forward to help him," he said.

NONEAsked if this was a mere coincidence, Tian Chua (right) replied: "It was deliberate, the cars deliberately tried to block him (Anwar) off, this was a clear attempt to intimidate us."

31 May 2012 - Selangor DAP state committee member V Ganapathirao and his brother Raidu, who are leading the Hindraf splinter group Malaysian Indian Voice (MIV), suffered bone fractures after three BN supporters assaulted them in Klang last night.

Ganapathirao told Malaysiakini this morning that the assailants armed with a car steering lock and metal objects attacked the duo at a road junction at Taman Mutiara.

The duo have been admitted into a hospital in Klang. Ganapathirao will be discharged later today.
Ganapathirao, a former senior Hindraf leader once detained under the Internal Security Act, claimed the assailants were unhappy with him and Raidu (below) for organising the MIV rally last Sunday that attracted 1,000 Indians to voice their support for Pakatan Rakyat.

“I know one of them because he had approached me two years ago asking me to join BN.
"He said we are now ‘taiko’ (big brother) after organising the MIV rally. I replied that they are cheats and traitors.

“I tried to walk away but one of them, armed with a car steering lock, hit me first.
"My elder brother tried to protect me but was attacked by the other two. My nasal bone was broken, my glasses fell, and my nose was bleeding until my clothes were all red.

“There were continuous punches and kicks. They attacked us with metal rods and a plastic chair,” Ganapathirao claimed.

The trio also broke the windscreen of his car before leaving the scene in a car.

ALL THESE VIOLENCE HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE POLICE!
Will there be justice for these people?
Will our PM speak up against these violence?
Why not?

The quality of our top Policemen is scary!

And not in a good way!

How did a policemen like this managed to get so high in the police force???

DAP vs MCA which allows greater freedom?

Former DAP member, Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim was told that he would not be nominated again to be a senator because he spoke up against the BERSIH 3.0 rally.(Which was against DAP's official stand)

However they offered him a new post on the Penang state think-tank.

But Tunku threw the offer back in the face of Lim Guan Eng and even insulted him.

How did Lim Guan Eng response to this?

“I do not wish to exchange personal attacks with Tunku but wish to put on record the party’s appreciation for his contribution for the four years he has been the DAP’s national vice-chief,” he said.

In the end Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim resign himself and started supporting Najib while shooting DAP.

How about MCA?

16 May 2012: The MCA disciplinary board has suspended the membership of Indera Mahkota division Youth chief David Choi for three years.

mca snoop squad hearing 140508 michael chenChoi is known for his strong stance against the Lynas rare earths refinery, which is being built in Gebeng, Pahang.

Board chairperson Michael Chen (left) told Chinese newspaper Sin Chew Daily that Choi can appeal against the decision.

The board had summoned Choi to defend himself against 20 complaints, including breaking ranks over the Lynas issue and damaging the reputation of Indera Mahkota MCA division head Pang Tsu Ming.

Despite objections from within the party, the outspoken Youth leader had taken part in the anti-Lynas street protest last year in Kuantan, as well as the Himpinan Hijau 3.0 rally last month in Kuala Lumpur.

These are actual facts. Judge for yourself!

If Najib and the Defence Minister has nothing to hide....

15 May 2012: Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi insisted that the French courts have no jurisdiction to summon Malaysians to testify in the ongoing inquiry into the Malaysian purchase of French submarines.

“Who are they to issue a warrant of arrest? We are not subjected to French laws,” he said at a press conference after an official visit by the Thai army chief at the Defence Ministry, aired in full by Mob.tv.

NONEAhmad Zahid (right) was asked to comment on the statement made by French lawyer Joseph Breham, who is representing human rights NGO Suaram in the civil case on the submarine buys at the French courts.

Breham had said that the presiding judge has the power to issue an international arrest warrant if a subpeona is rejected, including putting out a “red alert” with Interpol.

Ahmad Zahid, who previously said he was willing to testify, later said that neither he or anyone from his ministry will cooperate with the inquiry.

The next day, Lawyer Joseph Brehem, rebutted Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s statement that the French courts have no jurisdiction over Malaysians.
NONE“French courts have jurisdiction on anyone, being French or not, as soon as they are involved in a matter the courts are inquiring on. To say otherwise is either misleading or erroneous,” Brehem (right in photo) said in a statement issued by Suaram

If the witness refuses to abide by the subpoena, the court can issue a notice mandat d'amener, compelling the witness to appear before it. If the witness (still) fails to oblige, a warrant of arrest may be issued.

“The warrant of arrest is applicable within the French territory, and may be internationalised if the judge deems it necessary,” said Brehem.

PM Najib Razak and Zahid should just cooperate if they are subpoenaed by the inquiry to save the country from further embarrassment, especially if they have nothing to hide.

In fact, Zahid and Najib should voluntarily come forward to clear matters up and uphold truth and justice as exemplary ministers and senior leaders of the country.

Otherwise this will be seen as a clear sign of guilt!

Prove that Najib always keep his PROMISE!

Maybe not!

The next time Najib talks about the opposition not keeping their promise, maybe he should watch this clip to remind himself that he himself is willing to lie outright just to please the crowd!

As we can see in the video, Najib had promise the protestors that he would meet with them later just so that he can shut them up!

However Malaysiakini had reported the following...
"...eyewitnesses present told Malaysiakini that they were subject to stringent security checks, with metal scanners and body searches included, besides their photographs being taken and personal details recorded before they could enter the venue.

Asked why these measures were taken, the crowd was told they may receive “ang pow” from Najib if they put down their particulars.

Some of the attendees also claimed that besides the strong security presence, members of the police Special Branch also took pictures of the crowd.

As Najib began his speech even as the protesters shouted "Bersih, bersih, bersih," the premier began to look a little flustered and pleaded with the crowd to “please stop”.

He promised them that they could speak to him later.

An eyewitness saw a protester who refused to leave being manhandled and forcibly thrown out of the hall by security personnel.

“The protester is said to have sprained his ankle. Special Branch officers and Najib’s bodyguards also approached a number of protesters and escorted them out.

NST Caught Lying for its political masters!

The New Straits Times has apologised to Australian senator Nicholas Xenophon over its report that said he made an anti-Islam speech in Australia's Parliament in 2009.

In a statement published on the NST website today, the daily said it had made a "grave error" in publishing the statements in the article.

nick xenophon 290412"We accept that in his speech in the Australian Parliament referred to in the article, Mr Xenophon did not use the word 'Islam' and neither did he assert that Islam is not a religious organisation nor a criminal organisation hiding behind its religious belief.

"For the above reason, we hereby retract all the statements contained in the article against Mr Xenophon and unreservedly and unconditionally apologise to him for any distress or embarrassment caused by the article.

"As a further mark of our contrition, we have also removed the article from our online version of the newspaper with immediate effect," reads the statement.
In its May 2 article headed 'Observer under scrutiny', the NSTreported that Xenophon had told Australia's Parliament:
"What we are seeing is a worldwide pattern of abuse and criminality. On the body of evidence, this is not happening by accident; it is happening by design.
"Islam is not a religious organisation. It is a criminal organisation that hides behind its so-called religious beliefs."
Xenophon: Attempt to discredit me
The article also said that Xenophon supported same sex marriages.
However, the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) in a report today said Xenophon did not utter the word "Islam" and that the subject of his criticism was Scientology.
SMH said the word "Scientology" was replaced with "Islam" in theNST report in order to discredit Xenophon, who is a friend of PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.
"He told the SMH last night that the word switch was an example of the kind of dirty tricks the ruling party employs and had used against (Anwar)," reads the report.
Xenophon was among several foreign observers at the Bersih 3.0 rally. He was highly critical of the local media coverage and police reaction to the rally participants.
He was part of an international seven-member team on a three-day fact-finding mission on Malaysia's electoral system. They were commissioned by Anwar, as parliamentary opposition leader.

French prosecutors: Najib sought US$1bil for Perimekar

French public prosecutors probing shoddy deals in French-Malaysian arms deals found evidence that then-defence minister Najib Abdul Razak had sought US$1 billion (RM3 billion) for local company Perimekar from French shipmaker DCN's subsidiary DCNI.

According to prosecution papers revealed by NGO Suaram today, a fax shows that Najib had asked for the amount for Perimekar as a condition for a meeting with him on July 14, 2001.

The fax, dated June 1, 2001 was from Francois Dupont, the Malaysian representative for private company Thales Asia International, to one D Arnaud.

The document, one of 153 shown to Suaram, was seized by French police from the office of Henri Gide, an officer with Thales.
However, no copy of the fax was provided to media at the press conference today as Suaram said it is not allowed to take the documents out of France.

Instead, the NGO, which is pursuing a civil complaint against state-owned DCN for allegedly paying 114 million euros in defence kickbacks to Perimekar, provided media with notes from its French interpreter.

According to the notes, Dupont had in the fax detailed out the chronology of visits and future actions during a visit to Malaysia, including details of “negotiation meetings with the Ministry of Defence and the management members of Perimekar”.

“(In the negotiations) two contract proposals would be mentioned (from DCNI to Perimekar as well as between Perimekar and the Malaysian government).

“(Dupont) finally indicated a meeting with Datuk Seri Najib in France on July 14, 2001 with the condition that DCNI offers a maximum sum of US$1 billion for Perimekar’s stay (in France),” it reads.
Malaysia purchased two Scorpene class submarines in 2002.
Perimekar is owned by Najib’s associate Abdul Razak Baginda, who was acquitted on a charge of abetting in the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuuyaa Shariibuu, without his defence being called.

Razak Baginda’s company paid 360,000 euros
According to Suaram, another document obtained by the prosecutors revealed that Terasasi Sdn Bhd, a company owned by Abdul Razak and his father, was also linked to the scandal.
Suaram's interpreter noted that prosecutors had on Aug 22, 2011, obtained an invoice faxed to Terasasi Sdn Bhd on Sept 19, 2004, to the then-chief executive officer of Thales, Bernard Baiocco, for the purpose of “success fees”.

The invoice states that 359,450 euros (RM1.43 million) was to be paid into a bank in Petaling Jaya, while a handwritten note on the fax reads:

Razak demande si ce SF peut etre pris en compte assez vite. Le Support Fee suit avec un rapport (Razak is asking whether the SF can be paid into the account quite urgently. The support fee follows with a report.)”

However, Suaram director Cynthia Gabriel said the prosecutors were still trying to determine whether the ‘Razak’ stated in the note refers to Najib or Abdul Razak.

‘The Great Malaysian Robbery’

Referring to the case as “the Great Malaysian Robbery”, Gabriel said the prosecutors also found “a slew of companies” had been formed to muddy the money trail.

apcet II 221209 cynthia gabriel“More retro-commissions have surfaced, allowing the misuse of bodies such as a pilgrimage fund (Lembaga Tabung Haji) and the military pension fund (Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera).

“The Malaysian and French people have clearly been misled, cheated and robbed of their monies through blatant corruption and mismanagement of funds in the name of national safety and security,” Gabriel (right) said.

As such, Suaram demanded that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission open investigation papers on these new revelations and for the Malaysian government to cooperate with the French inquiry.

It also demands that the Defence Ministry lists out to Parliament the companies involved in the procurement process involving DCN and the commissions paid.

A Lying Coward!

I truly believe that Najib is an evil man!
Especially hearing the lies that came our of his mouth today!

The gathering organised by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and supported by the opposition parties near the Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday was an attempt to topple the government ..., said Najib Abdul Razak.

TOPPLE THE GOVERNMENT?!?! Lie No.1! Either that or he must be plain stupid for not understanding the meaning of Clean and Fair Elections!

NONELIE NO. 2

“They had the intention to take over Dataran Merdeka, not to gather for two or three hours but for two or three days or even longer, to show that the government cannot control the situation.

LIE NO. 3
“They wanted to make Dataran Merdeka like the Tahrir Square in Egypt,” he said when launching the Kelantan State 1Malaysia Community Carnival at the Civic Centre Hall in Gua Musang today.

LIE NO. 4
“I don’t deny there may have been some police brutality, but it could have been avoided if rally participants obeyed the law approved by Parliament,” he said.

SOME POLICE BRUTALITY?? This idiot must not know how the YouTube works!
He further defends the police brutality with a 5 years old mentality saying we started it first!

Best part is that he has even dares to challenged the group to compete in the election.

EXCUSE ME MR PM! You should just shut up if you were not even brave enough to be in KL for Bersih 2.0 or Bersih 3.0!!!

Reflection of BERSIH 3.0

What are the things to remember about BERSIH 3.0?

1. Hishammuddin is a BIG FAT LIAR!

Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar has clarified that confiscating memory cards and cameras belonging to journalists is not part of the police standard operating procedure (SOP).
This contradicts Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein’s claim that the seizure of journalists’ equipment while covering Saturday’s Bersih 3.0 rally was part of police SOP.
"There is no such thing. We act in accordance with the law," Ismail replied curtly when pressed on the matter at a press conference at the police headquarters at Bukit Aman.

Yesterday, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that the camera and memory cards belonging to journalists were seized as part of the SOP.

2. Police beating up Journalist/Photographer and stealing their memory card

NONE
Al Jazeera cameraman Ray Jones was punched on the head while Fawcett was grabbed by police who were stopping them from filming other officers assaulting the protestors.

Malay Mail cameraman, Muhammad Arif Kartono

- Even Zan Azlee a freelance journalist who has been to Afghanistan (right), Lebanon and South Thailand to shoot documentaries said that he had never felt as intimidated as he was at Bersih 3.0 in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday.

NONEZan figured something was amiss by early evening when he noticed that many police officers had taken off their name tags. And then he saw gangs of them beating up protestors.

He talks about how journalists got assaulted for shooting pictures and videos of police brutality. He himself was manhandled, hauled in and briefly detained by the police.

After he was released, as he walking towards his car, Zan noticed a number of people lying unconscious on the street as ambulances came to pick them up one by one.

- The Sun Reporter Radzi Razak and etc
NONE

3. Worse Police Brutality compared to BERSIH 2.0

4. ASTRO censorship of BBC and Al Jazeera

Satellite TV network Astro has admitted to censoring the BBC news report on the Bersih 3.0 rally it aired last Saturday "to comply with the national content regulations".

In a statement emailed to Malaysiakini from Al Jazeera English's head office in Doha, Qatar, the network said Astro has to date not informed them about the possible cuts made to its news programmes.

"Our news report was a factual account of events that day, and intrusion in our editorial process is unwarranted. We have not been censored in this way by another distribution platform anywhere in the world," it said

5. Traffic Police officer pulling his gun on civilians!

An eyewitness has come forward to reveal that a traffic police officer had pulled out his gun and aimed it at a protester during Bersih 3.0 last Saturday.

According to KL Lai, the police officer pointed his gun at a protester at Jalan Esfahan after another officer crashed his patrol car into protesters.

NONE“I saw a protester freeze and put his hands up. The traffic police officer had his back on me.

This is what our Police force has come down to thanks to Hishammuddin!!

We need to be ready for Bersih 4.0 to save our country!!!!

Mahathir was right!

UMNO leaders are all arrogant, insensitive idiots!

A perfect example of this is Higher Education Minister Khaled Nordin.
His “arrogant” tweet reaction to them (Demonstrators of PTPTN at Dataran Merdeka) being attacked by a mob last night has really pissed of a lot of students!

NONEThis morning, Khaled tweeted: “No one asked them to camp out at Dataran Merdeka. When something happens, don’t go asking for sympathy”.

Instead of condemning the attacked and asking the Police to make sure the perpetrators are arrested, he had to give such a sarcastic and arrogant statement. How is this idiot our Minister of Higher Education?!?

"If there is a car tyre punctured by the side of the road, that is Umno's fault. If there is a motorcyle punctured, that is also Umno's fault.

NONE“If there is a bicycle tyre punctured on a deserted road in the middle of the forest, that too is Umno's fault," sniped the deputy minister.

Pressed further on eyewitnesses claims that the attackers were indeed Umno linked thugs and of apparent police inaction against the perpetrators, Ahmad brushed the allegations aside.

"I don't know, I was asleep last night. People sleep at home, not in the middle of a field," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby.

AGAIN another UMNO leader showing how to be arrogant and scarcastic instead of showing interest in justice or concern about the well being of the Malaysian youth!

How can these people be the leaders of our country?!

And so that everyone in UMNO are on the same page,
Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein today called on the public to be wary of claims that the student protesters camping out at Dataran Merdeka were attacked.

Falling short of condemning such attacks, he said such allegations can be spread through mobile text messages and online media to stoke public anger.

“There have been such cases where allegations of such nature have been used...to raise emotions, be it in the areas of race, religion and now involving students,” he said.

He added that it is important to differentiate between real and fake allegations, also advising the public not to react.

“Let the necessary agencies investigate, and at the moment the one who has control... of Dataran Merdeka is the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) and I don’t see it as a major security issue,” he said.

FOR A Home minister he has shown that he has absolutely no idea on how to do his job!
His statement shows lack of urgency or even an ounce of concern for those hurt by the attacks!

“(We) hope the opposition now realises that in their feverish calls to Malaysians to participate in one demonstration after another be it in Malaysia or globally, reactions from their detractors may arise.

I think this idiot Chong should go and live in North Korea as he obviously do not understand or appreciate the value of living in a democratic country where people are free to voice their stand without the fear of being beaten by those who do not agree with their believes!

But I guess you can't blame him! As an MCA leader he must be use to just accepting what UMNO say without voicing out their disagreement for fear of being beaten up!!

IDIOTS!! We need to change the government!

This is a planned attacked on PTPTN demonstrators!

Yesterday, a group of unknown assailants attacked the students occupying Dataran Merdeka in the wee hours of the morning, beating up several of them, with one ending up in hospital.

Malaysian Youth and Students Movement (Dema) coordinator Heng Kiah Chun toldMalaysiakini that the incident took place about 2.45am and lasted around 15 minutes.

thugs attacked student in dataran merdeka scene after the attackHe said between 50 to 70 thugs encircled the students at the camp site, before provoking and beating them up.

They roughed up a number of students and dismantled all their 10 tents (right), which were set up as part of the push for free education.

Cameras, mobile phones damaged

According to Heng, the students remained calm and refused to react to the provocation.

Heng added that there were about a dozen police officers in the area but none of them did anything until the students' leaders pleaded for help.

The thugs left the area when the police came in, and eyewitnesses said one or two of the perpetrators were arrested.

students in dataran merdeka attacked by thugs after the attackThe 100-odd students who are campaigning for the abolition of PTPTN (National Higher Education Loan Fund) nevertheless appeared unfazed by the incident.

They held an impromptu meeting and voted to stay put at Dataran Merdeka.

"We will protect one another. We want action against the gangsterism," they said.

Breaking News! Major Cabinet shuffle!

Breaking News! Reports are coming in that PM Najib has taken over the Women Family and Community Ministry from the scandal hit Datuk Seri Shahrizat.

However due to his heavy work load, Najib has decided to pass on his finance ministry and prime minister portfolio over to his wife, Rosmah. Inside sources has confirm that Rosmah was more than happy to takeover Najib's job as she has been secretly doing Najib's job for him all along.

Sources close to the couple added that there will be no changes in their working relantionship as this will reflect their actual home dynamics. I.e. Rosmah is in charge of the family finances and makes all the prime decisions, while Najib's job is to be the homemaker!

That's a good boy. Listen to big mama!

With this cabinet change our government now has a Health Minister who is not even a doctor.
A doctor who is the tourism minister and an idiot for an Education Minister!

One has to wonder why is there such a shortage of quality leaders within BN?

Hahaha! Not all information above is reliable or accurate, but it is definitely funny and sadly believable

I wish they will make up their minds!

UMNO tells Malays that if opposition wins, then DAP will control PAS and they will loose their rights!

MCA tells non-Malays that if opposition wins, then PAS will control DAP and turn the country into an Islamic State!

WHICH IS WHICH LAH!

But Mahathir has already declared Malaysia as an Islamic State already! So why didn't MCA say something about it then?

On 29th September 2001, in his opening address during Gerakan’s 30th national delegates conference, the then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed announced that Umno wishes to state loudly and clearly that Malaysia is already an Islamic country. This is based on the opinion of ulamaks (religious scholars) who had clarified what constitutes an Islamic country. If Malaysia is not an Islamic country because it does not implement the Hudud, then there are no Islamic countries in the world.

Almost 11 years ago, Tun Dr Mahathir said very loudly and clearly: Malaysia is already an Islamic country. Country, state, nation, nation-state, kingdom, republic, or whatever, it all means the same. The long and the short of it: Malaysia is already an Islamic country. That was what Tun Dr Mahathir announced almost 11 years ago.

So why is the MCA youth secretary-general, Chai Kim Sen, now announcing that DAP wants to help PAS set up an Islamic State? Malaysia, according to Tun Dr Mahathir, is already an Islamic state, country, nation, nation-state, or whatever. How can you turn an already Islamic State into an Islamic State? Aiyah, can you see how bad Chinese mother-tongue education can be? It makes idiots out of these Chinese politicians.

If Malaysia is not yet an Islamic State, contrary to what Tun Dr Mahathir said almost 11 years ago, why did MCA keep quiet then? Why did MCA not foam at the mouth and call Tun Dr Mahathir a liar 11 years ago? Why only now, 11 year later, make so much noise?

What the former Lord President, Tun Salleh Abas, said back in 2002 is another interesting point. The Barisan Nasional government trapped itself when it declared that Malaysia is an Islamic state, said Tun Salleh.

"The statement has trapped BN and Umno. If they think Malaysia is an Islamic country, then why do they object against PAS' attempt to implement Islamic laws? If this is an Islamic State they should support the implementation of Islamic laws," he told Malaysiakini in an exclusive interview. (Read the Malaysiakini interview below).

That’s right. If Malaysia is already an Islamic State then why whack PAS? How can you accuse PAS of trying to turn Malaysia into an Islamic State, with the help of DAP according to MCA, if Malaysia is already an Islamic State?

There appears to be some confusion here. Well, actually there is no confusion. It is just that the politicians are trying to confuse us. They are hoping that we are stupid just like them and that we will not detect the lies and spins in what they are saying. That is all it is: lies and spins.

Either Malaysia is already an Islamic State or it is not. If it is, then MCA is lying. If it is not, then Tun Dr Mahathir was lying. The bottom line is, one of the two were lying. So who is lying: Tun Dr Mahathir or MCA?

Anyway, why are the kafir from MCA talking about Islam? Isn’t Islam a matter for the Muslims to sort out? Did not the Crown Prince of Perak say a few days ago that there should not be any debate/argument on Islam? And that means the kafir from MCA as well. You mean to say that Muslims like me must not talk about Islam while thekafir laknat from MCA can talk about Islam? Where got road one?

MCA is making Islam sound like it is something bad. Islam, Communism, Al Qaedah, Taliban, Jews, Israel, the IRA, corruption, AIDS, gays, porn, prostitution, China Dolls, free sex…they are all put into the same box. Isn’t it time that Islam not be treated as the pariah of society? When you want to whack someone you say he or she is gay, immoral, corrupted, a prostitute, or an Islamist.

If MCA is so against Islam or an Islamic State then they should have spoken up 11 years ago. They should have either protested when Tun Dr Mahathir announced that Malaysia is already an Islamic State or they should have called him a liar.

The Islamic State issue is a basi issue lah! Most Malaysians no longer buy this argument. Most Malaysians no longer care a damn. Most Malaysians are not worried whether the government cuts off the hands of thieves when those who will lose their hands would be the corrupt police officers, civil servants and politicians from Barisan Nasional. In fact, most of the leaders and ex-leaders of MCA would be the ones walking around without hands.

Bring on Hudud. I have no problems with it. I do not steal the rakyat’s money. It is the politicians who do. I am even prepared to volunteer to do the hand chopping. Chop, chop, chop…I just love Hudud. Thieves and corrupt politicians beware.

This is what they do to robbers and corrupt officials/politicians in China

‘DAP will help PAS set up Islamic state’

DAP’s real agenda is to pave the way for PAS to establish a hardline Islamic state, MCA youth secretary-general Datuk Chai Kim Sen said.

He said the statement by DAP Youth chief Anthony Loke Siew Fook that Pakatan Rakyat could win 120 parliamentary seats in the coming general election to form the next federal government was in fact a cover for PAS to establish an Islamic state.

“It is an undisputable fact that should Pakatan Rakyat control Putrajaya, religion-based policies will follow soon after.

“PAS has already stated repeatedly that it will gradually implement Islamic policies once it has control over the Federal Government,” he said in a statement.

Chai said this is not the first time that the DAP has helped to boost support for PAS by hiding the truth.

He said the DAP’s plan to place Pakatan Rakyat in Putrajaya was actually an agenda to control the decision-making process to allow PAS to fulfil its ambitions of an Islamic state.

“DAP knows that should they control the Federal Government, Islamisation by PAS is inevitable, and the more they cover up the truth, the more the facts will be exposed,” he said. -- The Star, 5 April 2012

BN trapped itself with Islamic state declaration: Salleh Abas

The Barisan Nasional government trapped itself when it declared that Malaysia is an Islamic state, said former Lord President Tun Salleh Abas.

"The statement has trapped BN and Umno. If they think Malaysia is an Islamic country, then why do they object against PAS' attempt to implement Islamic laws? If this is an Islamic state they should support the implementation of Islamic laws," he told malaysiakini in an exclusive interview.

He said Umno put itself in a 'Catch-22' situation when Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced on Sept 29 last year that Malaysia is an Islamic state. "I think they got caught with the statement to counter DAP's claim that Malaysia is a secular country."

Asked if Malaysia is an Islamic or secular state, Salleh replied that the country was currently a secular state.

"At the moment, we live in a secular country. The Federal Constitution and the laws state clearly that we are living in a secular state.

"However, it is right to say that Malaysia is an Islamic country, population wise, because the majority of her citizens are Muslims. But it is wrong to say that we have an Islamic government," he said.
