Headlines! Chua Soi Lek just got SLAP in the FACE!
He also said that...
"...We also are very confident in our Prime Minister Najib Razak's leadership"
But what does his boss (Najib) do?
He gives Soi Lek a slap in the face with his recent statement that threaten Malaysian Chinese to vote BN or risk having representation in the Govt and risk a bigger say to serve the Chinese's interest!
Is this not playing racial issue??!?!
How do we get it through that dumb, thick skin, numbskull of head of the PM??
The reason Malaysian Chinese are not voting BN is because they are corrupt, stupid, racist, and have absoultely no interest of the people of Malaysia at heart!
We are not voting BN because we don't like Malays, but because of issues like, Bakun Damn, 1 Malaysia E-mail, Lingam Case, Teoh Beng Hock, Aminulrashid, Kugan, Altantuya, Alkitab and Allah, and many more evil corruption case and scandal!!!
Smart thinking Malaysian do not care if their representatives in govt are Chinese, Malay or Indian !! But the idiot in BN thinks that only a Chinese can take care of Chinese interest, only Malay interest and etc! What the hell is 1 Malaysia for?!?!
We don't care of the race of our govt representative! We care what they stand for and that they are honest, people of integrity and has the heart to really care for all Malaysian regardless of race!! Is that so hard to get it though his head?!?!
Najib also urge PAS to leave Pakatan because DAP is reaping the benefits of the coalition.
This guy is not even the actual elected (by all Malaysians) Prime Minister of Malaysia and he can't even get his own house in order but has the balls to tell another party who they should work with! IDIOT!
Hei! Najib! You say 1 Malaysia but your newspaper (Utusan) says 1 Melayu and you don't even have the balls to correct them!
Why is he even bother if the opposition's dynamics! He was quoted saying things like DAP ganti PAS and that PKR and PAS is playing second fiddle to DAP!
Hei! How about your own BN!
Are you giving a hint to your own coalition partners?!?
Everyone knows that MCA, Gerakan, MIC and SUPP and dying because of UMNO!
Looks more like UMNO is replacing all the other parties!
If we follow Najib's advise! MCA, Gerakan , MIC and SUPP better leave UMNO because only UMNO is benefiting form this coalition!

If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. ~Mark Twain
The Selangor MACC office was located on the 14th floor of commercial tower Plaza Masalam when Teoh was found dead on the fifth floor service corridor on July 16, 2009.
The discrepancy in time was raised by Bar Council lawyer Cheow Wee when examining Klang MACC assistant enforcement officer Zukefly Aziz, who is the RCI's 55th witness.
Cheow said the Bar Council noted from the CCTV recordings that Zukefly left the office at 6.59am on July 16, 2009, contradicting his earlier statement to the police that he left at 3.15am that day.
He compared the recording with the police statement recently and spotted the discrepancy, Cheow said.
Went home after clocking in
Zulkefly said he did not know about the CCTV recording depicting him leaving the building later.
Cheow: Why did you return to your (Klang) office at 10am on July 16 for only two hours? Then you went home after that. Were you scared?
Zulkefly: Actually, I didn't go back to the office that day.
Following this, some in the public gallery expressed surprised because Zulkefly had testified yesterday he went to his office on July 16, 2009 to report for work.
Cheow: Are you changing your evidence now?
Zulkefly: That's the truth. I returned to my office to punch in for work at 7am, but went straight home. I was at home the whole day and did not punch out. I was too tired and took the opportunity to rest (at home) as the operation was going round-the-clock.
The witness said he did not inform his superiors about his decision to return home.
RCI panel calls officer a 'suspect'
The revelation led into the inquiry turning into an interrogation session, with all five RCI panel members joining Cheow in questioning Zulkefly.
"Now, you have become the suspect in a death case... you are now a suspect. Later, police can open the investigation, I think the police have not finished their investigation," rapped RCI chairperson Justice James Foong.
"Now you know the difference between witness and suspect?"
Zukefly argued that it was an unintentional mistake. He realised the mistake a week after giving the statement (to police), but did not rectify it because he thought it was a trivial matter.
However, Foong was clearly unconvinced and queried, "Was there anything that happened between 3am and 6am? Why did you lie?"
"If the time difference is small, it may be a mistake. If the CCTV did not capture you, we wouldn't know about it."
Zulkefly: I didn't see anything
Another panel member, former Federal Court judge Abdul Kadir Sulaiman, asked: "Are you involved in the case? What have you seen?"
After a short silence, Zulkefly maintained his denial and answered, "I did not see anything, there was nothing that happened".
The 44-year-old officer joined MACC in 1991. On July 15, 2009, he was assigned to collect documents from Meritlink, a company owned by the wife of Kajang councillor Tan Boon Wah, who was one of the witnesses in the investigation.
According to Zukefly, he took Tan to a small room in the Selangor MACC office before going to the Klang MACC office to collect his car. He returned to the Selangor MACC office between 11pm and midnight.
The next witness from the MACC, Mohd Yusmizan Mohd Yusof, said he had sent a text message to console his good friend and fellow officer, Mohd Ashraf Mohd Yusof, for being one of the suspects leading to Teoh's death.
“There was suggestion that Mohd Ashraf had held the belt of someone and put him near the window on the 14th floor. There was a lot of pressure on him, and I sent an short SMS to console him,” he said.
MACC: Truth fears no questions.
Witness Azeem Hafeez Jamaluddin said that there were several meetings before the inquest into Teoh's death and the inquiry hearing, involving Hishammuddin Hashim, who was the Selangor MACC deputy director in 2009.
Azeem also alleged that Hishammuddin had instructed his men to cover up his role in the investigations against DAP state assemblypersons.
“The meeting was held three days after the incident, on July 19, and again several days before the inquest and commission. We were directed to be consistent in our statements to the police and also while testifying.
“Hishamuddin also ordered that no one can mention that he was the one directing the operation on the (DAP assemblypersons) and for the officers to inform that it was Hairul Ilham Hamzah who was in charge,” Azeem said.
Hairul was the then-Selangor MACC investigation unit chief. Teoh was called in to the Selangor MACC headquarters on July 15 as witness to investigations against his boss Ean Yong Hian Wah, who is a Selangor state exco member.
Coached witnesses?
Upon questioning by Bar Council lawyer Cheow Wee, Azeem admitted that he had sent a text message to a female MACC officer, Nellmy Amrizal, saying: “How do we answer to the commissioners? One can plan what to answer before them, but in the end, the truth will finally be out.”
This text message, he admitted, was sent on July 23, 2009, a few days after Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak announced the possibility of the formation of an inquest and an RCI to investigate Teoh's death.
The witness also said that the then director of investigations, Mohd Shukri Abdull (now deputy chief commissioner) and chief commissioner Abu Kassim Mohamed had also called for a meeting to standardise their testimonies.
He also revealed that the officers also had meetings with MACC's head of prosecution, Abdul Razak Musa, and his deputy Kevin Morais, on how to answer questions from the RCI.
Azeem also testified that a fellow officer, Hadri Hashim, had informed him about noon on July 16, 2008 that a Chinese witness (Teoh) had run away.
He said, “yes, the witness had run away” but that his belongings were still in the office.
“I did not help in the search as at that time I thought some other division or officers would do that,” he said.
That resulted in the commission panel led by Justice James Foong to ask how come he did not help in the search.
MACC story in doubt
Another panellist, Abdul Kadir Sulaiman, asked, “Does it not occur in your mind that this person had probably escaped and you are being lackadasical about it?
“Such an attitude will result in the public thinking the MACC is covering something up.”
Azeem said he did not think it was his responsibility as he was not part of the operations team.
Asked by Foong whether this meant to him that Teoh had not been released because the items belonging to him were still there, Azeem replied that through his understanding of procedures, the witness had not been released.
The MACC had claimed prior to this that Teoh had been released at 3.30am on July 16, 2009, and that he was free to leave. This latest revelation has raised questions as to the veracity of the MACC claim.
No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar. ~Abraham Lincoln
The hardest tumble a man can make is to fall over his own bluff. ~Ambrose Bierce
I really hope those MACC officers who conspired to lie will have a greater fall then TBH!

Has MACC finally admitted that TBH and Ean Yong Hian Wah are not guilty of corruption?
Putrajaya MACC's senior acting superintendent, Ahmad Shafik Abdul Rahman @ Alwee, said he had taken over the case on Aug 27, 2009 from the Selangor office after the death of Ean Yong's political aide, Teoh Beng Hock.
Teoh's body was found on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam, Shah Alam on July 16, 2009. He had been questioned overnight as a witness at the Selangor MACC office on Level 14 of the building.
The RCI is looking into Teoh's death and the MACC's interrogation procedures. It was formed after an 18-month inquest delivered an open verdict, ruling out suicide or homicide as the cause of death.
Testifying this morning, Ahmad Shafik said that, from his investigations, there was “no evidence to prove that Ean Yong (right) had committed an offence under Section 18 of the MACC Act”.
The provision deals with an agent's intention to deceive his or her principal.
It reads in full: 'A person commits an offence if he gives to an agent, or
being an agent he uses with intent to deceive his principal, any
receipt, account or other document in respect of which the principal
is interested, and which he has reason to believe contains any
statement which is false or erroneous or defective in any material
particular, and is intended to mislead the principal.'
In an immediate response, Ean Yong said on his Facebook page, "After almost two years of waiting, justice finally arrived."
Up to the time of Teoh's death, the probe had been handled by Mohd Anuar Ismail of Selangor MACC.
MACC officers had previously told the RCI that four companies paid through Ean Yong's Seri Kembangan constituency funds had not executed any work on the projects awarded.
They had also said that one basis of the probe was the discovery of four copies "incomplete" invoices found in Teoh's(left) laptop, and which were deemed "suspicious".
The companies were named as MKMN Enterprise, Syarikat Aris, Fizami Construction and MA Bina Melor Enterprise.
However, Ahmad Shafik said today that all projects had been completed and that there were no grounds to prove otherwise.
"I ordered my officers to investigate the vouchers (found in Teoh's laptop and the claims vouchers from the Petaling District and Land office) and we found that all projects were completed," he said.
The payments to DAP Malaysia and the party's Seri Aman branch amounted to reimbursement of cash advances.
Ahmad Shafik noted that all Selangor assemblypersons receive an annual allocation of RM500,000.
Executive councillors get an additional sum of RM100,000. The District and Land Office acts as custodian of the allocations.
Process explained
Conducting officer Awang Amardajaya Awang Mahmud then asked: "How did you ascertain that the projects were finished according to specifications?"
"It is from the statement recorded from Lee Wye Wing and receipts of the transactions that were given to us," said Ahmad Shafik(right).
Lee was among the contractors who had often executed projects and programmes in the Seri Kembangan constituency, as well as in Kuala Kubu Bharu, where Ean Yong serves as'Adun angkat'.
Since Kuala Kubu Bharu is under MCA - and therefore opposition - assemblyperson Wong Koon Mun, Ean Yong was entrusted with the constituency allocation of RM500,000.
Ahmad Shafik pointed out, however, that Lee had submitted more than 50 receipts and that the MACC was unable to ascertain which receipt was issued for which project.
"The bumiputera contractors involved had lent their business licences to Lee and he was the one who coordinated and managed all the projects and programmes in the Seri Kembangan and Kuala Kubu Bharu state constituencies,” said Ahmad Shafik.
"Lee only communicated with Teoh, never with Ean Yong directly, and each meeting was face to face or via email. If the project was approved by (the state), Teoh would give Lee the green light. Upon completion, Ean Yong would issue the claims documents which were sent to the Land Office."
RCI chairperson James Foong then asked why the Selangor MACC had investigated the case.
Ahmad Shafik: I don't know why.
Foong: What were they looking for? What was the crime then?
Ahmad Shafik:(Selangor MACC) investigated this based on a complaint that claims were made for incomplete projects.
Commissioner T Selventhiranathan suggested that "investigation should have been done to determine the truth of the complaint", to which Ahmad Shafik agreed.
Responding to questions by Bar Council lawyer S Sivanendiren, Ahmad Shafik said that he sent the completed investigation papers to Hishamuddin Hashim, the deputy director of private sector investigation, who was previously in charge of the probe as Selangor MACC deputy director.
Ahmad Shafik was then told to get DAP's bank details and transaction vouchers to authenticate Lee's statement.
Before proceeding with the directive, Ahmad Shafik said he consulted MACC's deputy chief commissioner (operations) Mohd Shukri Abdull, who was then the investigations director.
Foong: Was it done?
Ahmad Shafik: For your information Your Honour, the circumstances in which I took over case were unusual - a witness had died, the other witnesses weren't cooperative, officers were threatened, etc.
"The orders from (Mohd) Shukri were that we don't need to probe further into DAP's bank account because it had no relevance to the case, which was being investigated under Section 18 (of the MACC Act)," he said.
Once he completed the investigation, he added, the papers were sent to the deputy public prosecutor - and he was ordered to stop looking further into the matter

Someone is lying! This 1 M'sia email stinks of corruption!!
Describing it a 'fiasco', Pua said the bluff was called when a representative from the National Key Economic Area lab disclosed that government agencies will pay private company and email provider Tricubes Berhad about 50 sen per email.
This revelation came just two days after Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak personally wrote on his Twitter account: "Let me clarify that the 1Malaysia Email is a private sector project. No public money is involved, and it's entirely voluntary."
"It is almost comical the way Najib and Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) officials are heaping layers of misleading and contradictory statements in an attempt to cover up the 'Malaysia email project' fiasco," said Pua (right).
"First, Pemandu had to take the trouble to edit the description of the project from a 'government initiative' to a 'private sector initiative', despite the fact that Tricubes had announced on Bursa Malaysia that it was awarded the email project by the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu)," he said.
"However, in a radio interview with BFM (business radio station) yesterday, business services NKEA communications content and infrastructure director Dr Fadhlullah Suhaimi Abdul Malek disclosed that government agencies will pay Tricubes Bhd to use the company's 1Malaysia e-mail database," said Pua.
It was reported that Fadhlullah Suhaimi had said he expected agencies to pay Tricubes about 50 sen per e-mail, which he claimed was still "cheaper than the RM1 printing, stationery, postage and dispatch cost of sending a regular letter."
'Scheme to fleece tax payers'
"This disclosure comes as a complete shock to Malaysians because the PM had assured us that the government will not be paying a sen for the project!
"And yet, it is now obvious that the '1Malaysia email project' is a scheme designed to fleece tax-payers monies with a service that is completely unnecessary," Pua said in a statement today.
He said that banks and telecommunication companies send monthly statements to email accounts for free.
The creation of an 'official email' account, on the other hand, is "absolutely unnecessary" in official dealings with the government giving rise to suspicion on the possibility of money being channelled into certain pockets.
"The signing up of a '1Malaysia' account is not only a hassle, it is clearly a barrier created specifically for certain parties to profit.
"Clearly the design and nature of the '1Malaysia email' project is to create an artificial need for a concession to provide rent-seeking opportunities for companies which may find it difficult to provide real value-added services in a competitive environment.
"Given that the prime minister and Pemandu officials have been tripping over each other to provide flip-flopping explanations which repeatedly contradict each other, Pemandu must do the right thing and disclose in full the contract awarded to Tricubes Berhad so that the public can know the full truth," he said.
It was first reported that local IT player Tricubes would invest RM50 million of its own money to launch the 1Malaysia Email service, available for all Malaysians above 18 years old as part of the most recent 12 entry-point projects as announced by Najib.
However, it was later revealed that Tricubes was classified as GN3, or a company in need of debt restructuring by Bursa Malaysia. The CEO had later explained problem as being caused by "heavyinvestment in research and development".
"The failure of Pemandu to do so will only make a mockery of its own Government Transformation Programme (GTP) which calls for the elimination of rent-seeking while increasing transparency and accountability.
"Pemandu should protect its reputation by calling a spade a spade, and call for the withdrawal of the project which has without a doubt, become an international embarrassment for the Najib administration," said Pua.
List of BN's sins during the 2011 Sarawak Election!
Written by Dr Tan Kee Kwong email tkk18247@yahoo.com.sg

Dear Najib & Pa Mao,
Shame on you for the just concluded elections in Sarawak.
Even for BN standards, it was the most corrupt & dirtiest elections ever!!!
It was very evident that BN played very dirty & was very scared
a. Blocked at least 4 NGO activists from entering Sarawak
Includes well respected head of Bersih 2.0 Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan
plan to give Sarawak control of immigration is to prevent mass migration of people from
West Malaysia to take up jobs in Sarawak, not to be abused politically
b.Outright bribery
our calon in N51 Balingan (won by Pa Mao) was a brave woman Suriati Abdullah
she was approached 3 times to pull out for a big ang pow
c. Ceramah disrupption
despite permit approvals, the Police disruppted ceramahs on many occasions
d. on 12/4/11, hacking & jamming of blog sites like Sarawak Report, Malaysiakini,
Free Malaysia Today, Malaysia Chronicles etce.
e. Jamming of hand-phones in many areas
f. Radio Free Sarawak
an agent in Europe paid to jam their broadcasts
Elections Commision (SPR)
Not neutral. not professional
Extra voters many brought in from West Malaysia
On 8 April I flew to Sibu, Saw at least 30 soldiers not in uniform on my flight
Voters assaingned to different polling stations at the last minute
Many, many reports made of giving money for votes
some even caught on video tape, NO action taken
After counting at polling stations, SPR officers refused to give our agents Form 14
according to SPR rules, this is a criminal offence, Sentence up to 2 years jail
DEVELOPMENT
Battle cry of the BN in Sarawak but the people in Sarawak are smarter now.
They ask Pa Mao, you have been Ketua Menteri for 30 years!
What have you been doing all these years
Where have all the riches from oil, gas, timber , oil palm etc gone???
CORRUPTION & MACC
well known that Pa Mao & his cronies are so corrupt
Includes oversea investments, NCR land stolen away
Just for the record, the late Teoh Beng Hock died after he was investigated of allaged
corruption of less than RM3,000/-
In the case of Pa Mao & his cronies, sums of Billions have been mentioned
yet BN/Najib/ MACC turn a blind eye
ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE
Sarawak rain forests is said to be 180 million years old
a. In May 2010, in Rejang River near Sibu, a massive log jam on the river for 10 kms

ANWAR IBRAHIM (DSAI) FACTOR.
Why is Najib & the BN so scared of DSAI???
They are going all out to discredit him but their efforts are back-firing
a. On the day that Pa Mao annnounced the dissolution of the Sarawak State assembly
ie on 21/3/11, by a strange coincidence the Sex Video was shown to a select group
of journalists in Carcosa Sri Negara in KL
b. The IGP is most unprofessional
even when the Police investigations are not complete,
he says the video tape is genuine
he also says the identidy of the man is known but who is he???
c Raja Petra
On the eve of polling in Sarawak, an interview of RPK with TV3 was revealed
RPK made a 360 degree U turn
Now he says now he is ready to return to Malaysia to face charges
some people allege that he was promised a lot of money to say all these things
some even say a sum of GBP10 million was promised
who knows, please ask the middle man & RPK
please remember, honesty & integrity has NO price
CHRISTIAN ISSUES, BIBLES , ALLAH
a. Role of ACS, Sarawak
ACS(Association of Churches, Sarawak)
their actions in the days just before polling shiow very clearly that the are very biased

The next day, the had breakfast with Najib, also many photos were taken
On Thursday 14/4, ACS had breakfast with the Pakatan leaders
strict instructions to be closed door meeting NO press or any photos to be taken
Why may I ask the very obvious double standards????
b. 10 point solution to the Bible Issue
As the CFM Head has pointed out this is an adhoc solution, not acceptable to CFM
Guidelines differentiate between West Malaysia & Sarawak, Sabah
Dear Najib, why is this the case, Why no ONE Malaysia for the Bible & Allah issue?
If the BN government is really serious, it should drop the Appeal case against the ruling that
the High Court made that Christians ca n freely use the word Allah in ALL their
publications
IN CONCLUSION
Both a warning & a challenge to Najib & the BN
IF the BN is so strong, please dissolve Federal Parliament NOW to pave the way for GE 13
Pakatan Rakyat is ready to challenge you in the Felda schemes, Perak(which you stole from us)
and in rural Johore & Pahang
I quote from todays Star Page 4. George Chan said" One thing is very clear. Barisan Nasional cannot go on like this"

Najib's Dumbest Decision yet!
This project which is award to Tricubes Bhd will cost RM50 million!!!!
The project, said Prime Minister Najib Razak, in announcing it at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Putrajaya today, will allow direct and secure communications between citizens and the government.
STUPID!
STUPID!!!!!!
I want to know where did they get the RM10,000 from??
The Malaysian Election Observers Network (Meonet) put up a video of a tuai rumah or longhouse chief in the Tamin constituency, who apparently admitted to receiving RM10,000 on behalf of his longhouse to support BN.
Tamin was won by BN through PRS candidate Joseph Mauh Ikeh, who obtained 4,998 votes, a 1,292-majority over PKR's Mengga Mikui, who finished with 3,706 votes in the predominantly Iban area.
In the nearly six-minute video - done almost entirely in the Iban dialect - the longhouse chief claimed that some BN representatives gave him three cheques, with the biggest valued at RM5,000, on the morning of April 13.
It is understood that two other cheques, valued at RM2,000 and RM3,000, were given earlier.
“Dulu nadai, RM20 aja bagi nya (We got nothing in the past, they only gave RM20),” the headman said when asked if his longhouse had received that much in cash handouts in previous elections.
Meonet coordinator Ong Boon Keong said the video was shot yesterday after they received information from one of their observers.
Ong said the three cheques were issued to the longhouse development and security committee, on top of RM50 handouts given to 14 heads of families living in the community.
When asked if all in the longhouse voted for BN, the headman simply said, “Bisik mangkah” (We did mark), referring to the act of marking 'X' next to a voter's party of choice on the ballot paper.
The longhouse chief however admitted that the longhouse residents “nadai untung”, or gained nothing, after voting for BN for the past 25 years but felt obliged to vote for the ruling party as they had already been “bought”.
This news just piss me off!!
Where is the funds coming from?? If the govt is using the rakyat's money then that will really piss me off!!!

The true situation in Malaysian! By CCM Youth!
It said that the "quick-fix" proposal ignored the "the overt and covert manner which the government had discriminated against the Christian citizenry for close to 40 years".
The following is CCM Youth's press release expressing its views in response to the various statements issued by the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM), the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship (NECF), the 10-point solution as proposed by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Idris Jala, and comments made in the media by the Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein and various parties.
1. 10-point proposal only addressed the Al Kitab issue
The 10-Point Proposal presumed that Christians were only concerned with the Al Kitab issue. That premise is incorrect.
The 10-Point Proposal distracted both the public and the church leaders from getting to the heart of the matter, that is, the concern over the overt and covert manner which the government had discriminated against the Christian citizenry for close to 40 years that had resulted in the gradual deterioration of basic rights of Christians to freely exercise their faith.
2. Restore full rights and full freedom enshrined in the federal constitution
CCM Youth denounced deplorable accusations that Christians were not being “fair” or “reasonable” in resolving the Al Kitab matter. CCM Youth disclosed that the Malaysian government had unreasonably and unjustly acted in bad faith since the early 1970s to-date against the Christian community. Among some examples were:
- Gradual erosion of the control of mission schools which included even the physical removal of words such as “Holy” and crosses from schools, even though the land, building and board of governors belonged to the church;
- Removing or disallowing “Christian Fellowships” from being recognised as societies in schools and universities;
- Harassing and transferring out Christian teachers found teaching Bible Knowledge, a legitimate examinable subject for the SPM;
- Gazetting the Al Kitab, the Bible in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia, as a threat to national security under the Internal Security Act;
- Denying the use of the word 'Allah' for the Christian God, even though it had been used by indigenous groups way before independence, and being the only Muslim country in the world to do so despite wide Arab usage;
- Denying Christians land to operate churches or cemeteries.
And the list goes on.
CCM Youth was saddened that Christians today were openly abused, harassed and provoked in the media and encouraged by the government, with all sorts of erroneous information being placed on official government websites put up as decrees; linking activities from Valentine's Day to 'poco-poco' to crosses on football jerseys, to Christian beliefs without so much as a dialogue or a clarification with the Christian community.
So much so that even the Islamic government machinery, with nods from cabinet ministers, the Home Ministry and state governments, unashamedly encouraged over-zealous religious officers and Islamic-based NGOs, to propagate and sow seeds of hatred towards the Christian community.
CCM Youth was informed that recently a group of students went for an excursion to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, and were denied entry just because their uniform had a cross.
After so many years of racial-religious polarisation under the hands of government machinery, religious and racial bigotry is now blatantly practised and widely nurtured in government departments against Christians.
CCM Youth believed that the 10-Point Proposal was superfluous as Christian citizens were not asking for anything extra, but for their basic constitutional rights, enshrined in the Federal Constitution, to be respected and honoured.
3. Christians' birthright to read, speak and write in the national language
CCM Youth opined that it was ludicrous to deny Malaysian Christian citizens the right to use the country's national language for the purposes of exercising their faith.
On the one hand, non-Malay citizens are often criticised for their purported lack of loyalty when they did not speak Bahasa Malaysia, but when they did, like in this case in order to read the Bible, which they had been doing for generations, they were denied that right.
CCM Youth reiterated that as citizens of this country, it was their God-given birthright, which “should not be given up, negotiated, traded away, nor 'sold for a bowl of pottage'”, being simply rushed into just because Christian leaders were offered a “quick-fix” solution to the immediate problems that were originally created by unjust parties.
4. The 10-point proposal does not carry the weight of law
CCM Youth decried attempts to create a 'band-aid' compromise solution that did not carry the weight of law. If the government were truly sincere, there would not be a need for a 10-Point Proposal.
Insofar as this matter was concerned, all the government needed to do was to instruct the Home Ministry to drop its appeal on the 'Allah' issue, which the Catholic Church won on Dec 31, 2009 when it took the case to the High Court. This action would immediately lead to the withdrawal of the Allah and the Al Kitab from any further restrictions in the country.
CCM Youth urged the government to uphold democratic principles and not play games by taking a round-about route that did not reflect their sincerity.
5. 10-point proposal sows disunity amongst Christians
The 10-Point Proposal served only to promote disunity amongst Christians, playing to the ruling government's 'divide-and-rule' tune. CCM Youth questioned how it could be plausible for a 1Malaysia, yet a 2Bible and 3Rule solution?
If at all, it only cemented CCM Youth's opinion that 1Malaysia had been nothing but political rhetoric.
If Christian leaders had agreed to this proposal, the Orang Asal of Sabah andSarawak would have one rule; while believers in the peninsula, including the Orang Asli, would have another rule.
Should Christians subject themselves to such confusion and be manipulated to accept such terms? Likewise, by agreeing to such terms now, would Christians then forfeit the right to resolve future outstanding matters beyond the Al Kitab issue?
6. No guarantee that pledges or assurances will be honoured
Time and time again, the Christian community have been given assurances but only to be disappointed later on. CCM Youth urged church leaders to be wise, for what had been dressed as compromise could turn out to be an entrapment – “Even the elect were deceived, if that were possible.”
CCM Youth pointed out that they were well aware that there were many obstacles ahead, and they understood the “card game was in the hands” of the government.
Even if the federal government gave the impression of giving way, they could fall back on the state government machinery that would kick in and take that to another gear which involved harassing book stores, printers, forwarding agents, schools and so on, located in affected states.
7. The tipping point - today's decision will impact future generations
CCM Youth urged church leaders to take their time and not to be in a hurry. It was imperative that they did not fail future generations, or act in a manner that could adversely undermine or enslave future generations from practising their faith freely.
CCM Youth urged church leaders to remain faithful and to take as much time as they needed to ponder and to ask pertinent questions without compromising the faith.
Otherwise, future generations would return to remind past generations of leaders of "compromises" made today, or that the church leaders held silent when they could have spoken up, having restrained themselves from pursuing justice when they had the opportunity to do so.
CCM Youth urged church leaders not to worry about having to come to a decision by the CFM's Biennial General Meeting on April 14, 2011, but to take ample time to pray and seek the Lord before coming to a decision.
CCM Youth reminded church leaders that even the youths today were still learning the full extent of the rights that had been eroded to-date as events unfolded, and CCM Youth would endeavour to support church leaders to their best of abilities to recover that which was lost, and hand over full freedom to future generations as their legacy.
8. Are we speaking to the right party with the authority?
With due respect to Senator Idris Jala, CCM Youth raised concerns that there were no assurances that he had the full weight of the cabinet behind him in this regard, given the underlying tones and lack of media support from cabinet ministers. Even the prime minister himself had been strangely silent.
From remarks given by the home minister and various “shadow gatekeepers”, there had been no assurance that the relevant ministries would honour any form of agreement. What remained consistent so far had been the consistency of the government's inconsistencies. The danger of flip-flops was not a probability, but a given.
CCM Youth believed that this rush to force a solution was inadvertently linked to the outcome of the Sarawak elections and the potential impact from its Christian majority population.
CCM Youth observed that it was this careless 'short-term opportunistic' attitude of the government for political expediency that had made them wary of such overtures and advised church leaders to exercise greater caution under such circumstances.
If the government were sincere in addressing the grievances of the Christian community, CCM Youth believed that nothing less than the coming together of a task force from the Prime Minister's Department, the Home Ministry, the attorney-general, the Education Ministry and all state governments and Islamic departments had to take place.
9. Sorry seems to be the hardest word
CCM Youth pointed out that it was Idris Jala (centre) who apologised.
So far, no official statement of apology had been offered by any ministry, especially none was forthcoming from the home minister, the main protagonist who directed the stamping of the Bibles.
The public ought to know that this entire episode of the desecration of the Christian's Holy Scriptures happened during the holy month of Lent which precedes and commemorates the Lord Jesus Christ's crucifixion and celebrates His resurrection.
If an opportunity presented itself for reconciliation and restoration to properly right the grave wrong committed, CCM Youth would certainly offer forgiveness. Obviously, the situation had yet to present itself.
10. Christian cabinet ministers must take leadership
CCM Youth noted that except for Idris Jala, many Christian cabinet ministers have kept silent. One cabinet minister even called Christians foolish for holding prayer rallies. CCM Youth challenged cabinet ministers to be faithful and to choose today whom they served - whether God or man.
CCM Youth reiterated that they were not being unreasonable, audaciously demanding or stirring trouble. CCM Youth regretted that for a long time, the church had remained silent, having compromised when it should not have.
In good faith, church leaders had been drawn into endless unproductive closed-door meetings, given verbal promises and handshake agreements that never materialized.
Unfortunately for the church, Christian goodwill had not been reciprocated, and closed door agreements never honoured. The recent desecration of the Al Kitab was the last straw.
CCM Youth called upon all Christians today to rally firmly behind their Christian leaders as they worked towards a resolution for the community. CCM Youth urged the Christian community to uphold their leaders in prayer more fervently.
CCM Youth reiterated that they remained committed to nation-building and bringing about justice, peace and reconciliation for all Malaysians and migrants, and would stop at nothing to bring about change for the betterment of all peoples regardless of creed, race or religion, through proclaiming truth and bringing about justice and transformation to the nation.
No such thing as freedom of the press in M'sia! Newspaper blatantly bias towards BN!!
Among the local editions of four dailies, three are owned by Umno-linked Media Prima - New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro, and another is owned by timber tycoon and media mogul Tion Hiew King - Sin Chew Daily.
The special supplements applauded the “development politics” concept introduced by Taib and illustrated that the Sarawak economy is at its peak, and the state will become a developed industrial state by 2020.
The pullouts published by Harian Metro had 12 pages, New Straits Times and Berita Harian had 24 pages respectively, while the pullout of the nation's best-selling Chinese daily Sin Chew Daily had 48 pages.
All four pullouts highlighted BN's achievements in various sectors, including Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score), tourism, agriculture, land titles of NCR, lower land renewal premium and Bakun dam.
The pullouts only focused on information related to BN and none on the opposition. It was not stated whether they arecampaignadvertisements.
However the content is very similar to BN's manifesto launched on Thursday which vowed to develop Sarawak into a developed state by 2020 and the richest state by 2030.
Sin Chew Daily's pullout, titled '10th Sarawak state election special report', claimed Taib had transformed Sarawak during his 30-year tenure, hence he was dubbed the 'architect of modern Sarawak'.
It also described SUPP president and Deputy Chief Minister George Chan as 'father of Miri''s development' who managed to develop the oil city to surpass Sibu and become Sarawak's second largest city in 15 years.
Chan is seeking his seventh consecutive term as assemblyperson for Piasau, a seat located in the parliamentary constituency of Miri.
The pullout also rebutted many allegations by the opposition, claiming that Sarawak still retains 80 percent of its forest, Malaysia's fuel price is the cheapest in the region, increasing bumiputras' income through the development of NCR land, and that the Bakun dam will provide sufficient energy for Sarawak's industrialisation.
'The media should remain neutral'
Wong Meng Chuo, coordinator of election watchdog Sibu Election Watch, pointed out that the media should maintain neutral during elections and refrain from publishing such publicity material.
However, he was not surprised as this had happened in the last state polls.
“Judging from the content, they should be categorised as advertisements but they were reported as news.
Wong added that the exploitation of media by the BN would definitely affect the election result in favour of the ruling coalition.

Even the disable are not spared from ISA!
"Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA (GMI) and Suara Rakyat Malaysia (Suaram) strongly condemn the new arrest under the ISA, allegedly for being involved in a subversive movement," said the organisations in a statement today.
The NGOs claim that the 42-year old Kadir bin Hashim was arrested yesterday by special branch officers under Section 73 (1) of Internal Security Act (ISA).
They cited family members who related that Kadir is a disabled citizen whose place of business is in Kampung Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur.
Kadir, who is an activist, is also a member of the local PKR youth branch.
Questioning why the government invoked ISA against Kadir, they also expressed concern over his condition and safety.
"We urge the government to allow lawyers and the family to visit Kadir bin Hashim immediately," they said.
ISA abuse cry rings out again
GMI and Suaram alleged that the incident proved that the arbitrary law has been abused under the pretext of national security for political reasons.
"We urge the government to charge the said detainee in open court; otherwise, he should be released without any delay and unconditionally," the NGOs added.
Both NGOs maintain that they value the security of the country but believe that everyone is entitled to a fair trial, a right that should not be taken away whatever the pretext.
Section 73(1) Internal Security Act 1960 allows any police officer without warrant to arrest and detain a person, pending investigations, of whom he reasonably suspects has acted or will act in any manner "prejudicial to the security of Malaysia or any part thereof or to maintenance of essential services therein or to the economic life thereof".
NGOs and civil society have cried foul over such "draconian" provisions which they say deprive a person of their liberty and the right to a fair trial before the courts
Guess what MACC officer do after office hours!
An interim report released by independent private investigator Michael Leslie Squires, detailed that five of the six computers belonging to MACC officers had been analysed.
The tests revealed that on the night of July 16, 2008, two officers - Raymond Nion and Mohd Ashraf Mohd Yunus - were downloading pornography on their computers.
Squires' check on Ashraf's computer revealed that he had download movies, music and visited various pornography sites between midnight to 1.20am on the night that Teoh was being interrogated at the Selangor MACC headquarters.
He made similar findings on Nion.
On Thursday, chief commissioner Justice James Foong dropped the bombshell when he asked an MACC officer whether they were watching porn after office hours.
The Selangor MACC office was then located on the 14th and 15th floor of Plaza Massalam in Shah Alam.
Besides the two officers, Squires also checked the computers belonging to the former Selangor MACC deputy director Hishamuddin Hashim and found that he did not used it for any Internet browsing on July 16, 2009.
Meanwhile, checks on computers owned by another MACC officer, Khairul Anuar Alias, found that he used it to download movies, cartoons and music between midnight and 2.55am on July 16, while Mohd Anuar Ismail was used to download music and photographs.
Laptop not infected by virus
Squires also checked the laptop owned by recording officer Arman Alies and could not find any evidence it was infected by virus between June and August 2010.
"However, that is not absolute proof that it was not. But there is no evidence that it was subsequently repaired," he said.
Arman had earlier told the inquiry that he could not print the statement recorded from Teoh as demanded by the police as his laptop was not working.
Squires in his report also found that Hishamuddin was not called to face the MACC complaints committee, which was chaired by former Court of Appeal judge Mohd Noor Abdullah.
The inquiry panel also comprises former Federal Court judge Abdul
Kadir Sulaiman, former Appeals Court judge TS Nathan, Penang Hospital orensic pathologist Dr Bhupinder Singh and forensic psychiatric onsultant Prof Dr Mohamed Hatta Shaharom.
Teoh, 30, was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the 5th foor corridor of Plaza Masalam after giving his statement to the Selangor MACC.
The RCI will continue on Monday.
