The True Hollywood Story (on MCA vs DAP and Hudud Law)

Firstly I want to criticize TheSTAR for their very very one sided publication on the Hudud law issue!

Publishing only Ong Tee Kiat side of his story without giving Uncle Lim a chance to defend themselves (DAP) shows that the Star is nothing more that a political propaganda machinery for MCA!
TheStar has really lost all credibility and integrity as a legitimate national newspaper!

Now on to the hudud law issue!
It all started when Umno Youth deputy head Khairy Jamaluddin suckered PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa in a debate last Saturday night.

Khairy had sneakily got Hasam to stated that hudud and qisas laws would have been implemented if Pakatan Rakyat had managed to take control of the federal government as planned on Sept 16.
He further noted that DAP's stand - with the party being a member of the Pakatan alliance together with PAS and PKR - on Malaysia being a secular nation based on the social contract formulated in 1957 remained "consistent and unchanged".

So MCA taking advantages of this situation decide to join on the bandwagon and started sending memorandum to PAS.
In a move that temporarily stopped traffic, the MCA leaders then crossed the busy Jalan Raja Laut to unfold two banners in Malay and Chinese: Pemuda MCA membantah hukum hudud (MCA Youth against hudud laws).
BUT OF COURSE NO ARREST WERE MADE BY THE POLICE LAH!

Of course other BN component parties like Gerakan and MIC also took the turns to shoot PAS, DAP and PKR on this issue.

THE MAIN STORY is of course MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat asking DAP to boycott the Kuala Terengganu by-election campaign as a matter of principle if it is really against PAS’ plan to implement hudud and qisas laws if it comes to power at the national level.
"Mere words objecting to PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa’s statement on the issue would not suffice if not demonstrated by action,”
Ong said in his latest posting in his blog

MY QUESTION IS THIS!
WHY DID WE NOT EVEN HEAR A WHISPER FROM MCA MIC AND GERAKAN when on...

Why didn't MCA, MIC and Gerakan made a stand on this matter?!?
NOT EVEN A SOUND!
Even when they did make a sound on the ISA issue.... It is clear that UMNO will not listen to them!
At least DAP dare to stand toe to toe with PAS and whole them accountable for their action. This is more than I can say for the useless MCA leadership.
Base on what MCA President said, he should walk the talk and pull out of BN first before he is worthy to criticize DAP!
Actually I am very very disappointed with Ong Tee Keat! I thought he was finally the man to change MCA. However base on this issue and him white washing the RM4.6 billion Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) debacle, it is clear that this once great man is nothing more than a puppet to UMNO! Shame really!

If you wanna know why PAS can never implement hudud law, you should read RPK latest article on the Constantly Gambling Chinese! If not, you can wait for me to give you a summary of the article later!

Are you willing to support a coalition where UMNO has 99% of the power, leaving MCA MIC and Gerakan nothing more than mere lame puppets?

Or a coalition where DAP, PKR and PAS treat each other as equals! even through they may have disagreement.

Why don't we turn the tables around and ask UMNO if they are against hudud law and weather they consider Malaysia to be an Islamic state!

I would like to get's UMNO's reaction, as well as its coalition's partners counter response......IF ANY!

MCA man,Transport Minister Ong Tee Keat commits treachery...again?

I read this blog post by The Ancient Mariner. I think it is an interesting article.
You can also get back up facts and feedback of a lot of readers from the Malaysian Insider.
Personnaly I have met YB Ong and thought he was a nice guy.
However I am very very disappointed at him.
I thought he was the man to turn MCA around!
I guess I was wrong!

Clear Prove that the Selangor Police Chief lied!!!

If you need further prove that the Selangor Police Chief is lying please see the video below!!

Actually I thought the first part was quite funny that the police were actually scared of the parents!!!

I have never seen police so scared till they lock themselves in their own police station!!! hahahahahah!!
I have never seen police being talk to so disrespectfully before (some more at their own police station!) hahahahahaha!!!

I can't say they didn't deserve it!

So whose really lying?!! (Police or JERIT?)

WHO DO YOU TRUST?!?!?

Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar??
or JERIT?!?!
The Selangor police shit.f said that his police stopped a team of more than 50 riders in Jerit's ‘Ride for Change' campaign in Rawang yesterday in order to "save under-aged cyclists" from being exploited.

"When giving their statements, these children said they did not know why they were asked to participate in the cycling event," he told reporters at the Rawang police station last night."As for the children, we have actually saved them from being misused and exploited by irresponsible people... we did not arrest them."

He also said the police had contacted their parents to take them home and would investigate whether the children had received permission to take part in the event.
HOWEVER?!?! (and this part you won't get from the bias reporting of TheSTAR or NST)

Jerit said that all the under-aged cyclists had parental consent to take part in the cycling campaign.

"The children actually refused to say anything to the police officers as they did not want to cooperate with the police as they are being detained illegally."

It was pointed out that the police on the other hand had failed to provide the children with shelter from rain last night while they were kept at the Rawang police station.

And when they (the children) tried to find shelter, the Light Strike Force threatened and intimidated them.

"They were not given food until 11pm at night and that too only after so much of pressure," added the Jerit statement.

Jerit also said that Khalid had failed to mention that the children were arrested without the presence of any officers from the Welfare Department.

"Children are not supposed be kept overnight in the police station, but the police kept them there the whole night. How is that for breaking laws?" questioned Jerit.

The children were finally released today after their parents were asked to come to vouch for them at the Rawang police station.

Even then, the parents were not allowed to fetch their children without hassle, added Jerit.

"When the parents arrived at the police station, they were not allowed in, and then police insisted on taking statement from each parent before releasing their children."

Isn't this a violation? Why do the parents need to give statement?

The parents protested and refused to give statement to police and demanded for their children.

The police were causing more trauma and agony to the parents of the children," added Jerit in the statement

SO WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?!?!?
Our high and mighty police chief??

Or the JERIT organisers?!?!

Lets consider some facts!!
1. These "children" are around 17, 18 year old teens. Do they need saving ah?!?!
Are Malaysian teens that free and dumb that they are willing to cycle hundreds of miles around Malaysia and be intimidated by police and other thugs and NOT KNOW WHY ah?!?!
(I dunno who is dumber! Our Malaysian teens or the person who gave such a stupid excuse!)

2. Are our Malaysian parents that busy and dumb that they do not even know where their child has gone??!?!? Would not their parents have made a police report earlier if they did not approve of the actions of their child?!?!?
( I dunno who is dumber! Our Malaysian parents or the person who gave such a stupid excuse!)

3. Let's also remember that this is the same police chief who only just recently said some of the most illogical and dumbfounded things I could imagine!

Now just barely a week later, this police chief takes a page out of the playbook (put a reporter in ISA for her own safety) of the worse person he could have ever followed (Syed Hermit Alba)!!!!
I mean I know he is your boss, but where is the wisdom in following a guy who can speak using the wrong hole in his body?!?!
It could tarnish their (police) image?!?!?!
Hahahahahhaha!!
Somebody should wake up our Home Minister and tell him that it is a little too late for that!!

My condolences to Ng Yee Ping's family.

My most sincere condolences to the family of Ng Yee Ping, a 30-year-old accountant who perished in the Bukit Antarabangsa landslide tragedy on Saturday.

A deep felt sympathy to Ng Yee Ping's husband, a 31-year-old executive was forced to dig through the earth with his bare hands until his fingers bled....all in a frantic attempt to save his wife.
Yee Ping's husband and brother-in-law had started to dig with their bare hands to rescue Yee Ping. After sometime, just as they managed to reach the victim's hand, several rescue personnel passed the area.
The brothers asked them for help but were told to wait until more personnel arrived. "Later, a few rescue personnel arrived at the scene but they just threw a spade at (my sons) and did nothing," Yee Ping's mother-in-law (Wong Sai Mooi) alleged, claiming that Yee Ping could still be alive if they had assisted. "But they didn't (help). (They treated her) like some dead dog or cat. Would they have done the same if one of their family-members was involved?" she asked bitterly.

Wong's husband, Ng Yong Shun, 56, also accused the rescue personnel of looting his house and consuming his expensive wine. He claimed that when he returned to the house on Sunday morning, he was shocked to discover several men in uniform lying on his bed, smoking and drinking his wine. "One of them had even asked me whether I still wanted these things, if not I should give it to them. Later, my wife and I examined our safety box and found it opened. Several branded watches and jewellery were missing," he said.
Commenting on the accusations yesterday, Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said he found it hard to believe that rescue personnel would have acted in such a cold-hearted manner.

"I don't believe that they would sit there and drink alcohol and so on. If there is such a person, could he be seen as a human being?" asked the police chief.
(WHO CARES WHAT YOU BELIEVE! OR DON'T BELIEVE!! DO YOUR JOB AND INVESTIGATE THE MATTER LAH!! COULD YOU REALLY BE THE POLICE CHIEF???)
.
"To dig and save someone, one has to be trained."
(CAN THOSE WORDS COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH IF IT WAS YOUR WIFE UNDER THERE INSTEAD!?!?)
On the same note, he explained that some rescue personnel who are untrained are not allowed to conduct certain rescue operations. "You don't expect an ambulance driver to save a buried victim. He is not trained, so if we request untrained personnel for help and they refuse, we shouldn't blame them. "This is because their lives are in danger too. I think we should respect their decision. To dig and save someone, one has to be trained. For an untrained person, it's a very dangerous task," he said.
RESPECT THEIR DECISION?!?!? YES WE EXPECT AN AMBULANCE DRIVER TO SAVE A BURIED VICTIM!!! ESPECIALLY IF SHE IS WITHIN REACH!!!!
Judge for yourselves how competent and how much respect would you give our Selangor Police Chief after hearing those words that came out from his mouth!

Have you ever been issue a traffic summon for not having reflector on your bicycle??!?!

Has anyone out there hear of police arresting cyclist and then giving them given traffic summon for not having reflectors on their BICYCLE!!!!!

In the whole WORLD is there any country where the police does that?!?!

YES THERE IS!!! ITS HERE IN MALAYSIA!!!
Dec 6th (SAT), 16 activists who were about to take part in the cycling campaign were arrested at Suaram’s office in Skudai and released after about an hour of questioning.

According to Nalini, who is also Suaram co-ordinator, the police arrested the group for illegal assembly.
"But I argued that it was not an illegal assembly as we were all just trying to cycle. But the police said that they received specific instructions to arrest us," said Nalini.

Jerit co-ordinator Y Kohila said there were 32 people in Suaram’s Skudai office this morning when "police locked us in".

50 police officers put up a total of eight roadblocks around the office area. (wah! what are they terrorist ah?!?! they are kids only!!)

"We were not allowed to go out and the police started disturbing our bicycles, sitting on them and pushing them, and that’s when we got angry," said Kohila, adding that the police accused activists of being unco-operative.

"The police are still following our bus to all the places we are going to. They are intimidating us by taking pictures and preventing us from moving."

At around 4.30pm (same day), 13 activists started cycling from Kulai to Simpang Renggam. However, according to Nalini, police stopped the Jerit activists and took them to the Kulai police station, where they were issued traffic summonses for not having reflectors on their bicycles.

The
campaign is Jerit’s attempt to raise awareness of the current issues plaguing the country like food shortage, environmental problems, draconian laws and the current financial crisis.

The group is scheduled to hand over a memorandum to Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim at the end of their campaign.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
(If I had taken the word "police" out of the article above, would you believe they were behaving as police officers or gangster thugs bullying poor Malaysian around!)

Has the police no proper code of conduct or character?!?! Can they simply arrest and release people with no proper charges?!?!?

However, the lorry and the bicycles were released at 6pm - three hours after they were seized.
.
A group of policemen, led by Jalan Patani police station chief, one Chief Inspector Jamaluddin, manhandled and tried to drag away the event’s northern region co-ordinator Choo Choon Kai, 30.

Even though Choo told Jamaluddin that he was there on a pre-arranged appointment with Lim, who was attending an international economic conference at the hotel, the police officer refused to listen.
"I don’t care (about Lim’s appointment). I want you all to disperse now," he warned Choo.

The hotel management was also unco-operative today, shutting down entrance doors and denying cyclist entry into the hotel. An officer, known only as Samy, called on the cyclists to disperse saying that hotel guests were "terrified" by their presence.

(Terrified of kids ah?!?)
A check with a hotel guest, known only as Elizabeth, however, revealed that most guests were more curious, than terrified.

"We were just curious about who the cyclists were," said Elizabeth, who declined to be photographed.

I really wish our police would actually do their job!!
They are harassing the wrong group!

With robbers, snatch thieves, murderers and etc out there, our police force divert so much resources to a bunch of cyclist!!!
The IGP must have the same brain (or lack of it) as Syed Hamid Alba!!!

Does he not realise that all that they are doing is to divert more attention to this JERIT group!!! I would not have paid much attention to it if not for the shocking actions of the police!!!

The police should take quick action against these people and not the JERIT group!!

But do you think the police will be as efficient in catching these criminals as they were in harassing the JERIT group?!?!

(I don't think so because that would mean that the police will actually be doing their job!!)

Responding, Penang deputy chief police officer Sallah Mat Rasid reportedly asked for the campaign to be called off, saying he has been informed that certain people are not happy with the Jerit’s demands.
(Excuse me!!! Do your job and protect the rights of Malaysian can or not!!! Just because some people are not happy does not mean you chicken out in protecting all Malaysian!)

Instead of protecting the rights and security of all Malaysian, what does our PDRM do?!?!

MALAYSIA BOLEH LAH!!
Please note that I am not against the Police Force. I am grateful that we even have police force, In fact I have a few police friends that are good cops!
However most of them are just following orders. They do not have a say in their actions and they have no free will of their own.
It is the few brainless, corupt, greedy, @ss kisser in the police force that has to be weed out of Police Force and it has to start from the top!

The insensitivity of our leaders to the Bukit Antarabangsa Disaster Victims!

A massive landslide at 4am on the 6th of December 2008, buried 14 bungalows and claim 4 lives in Taman Bukit Mewah and Taman Bukit Utama in Bukit Antarabangsa, Selangor.

The dead have been identified as veterinarian Dr N. Yogeswari, 40, accountant Ng Yee Ping, 30, and IT student Shaiful Khas Shaharuddin, 20. The fourth victim is Indonesian Surina, 30. The sole missing person is believed to be his security guard.

The landslide has cut off the access road to the residential area, trapping hundreds of people at Bukit Antarabangsa in Hulu Klang.

My most sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims of this tragedy!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now how does our leaders react to this disaster?!?!

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi urged all state governments to consider stopping housing projects on high-risk hillsides for safety reasons.

“I am sure this will incur the wrath of individual land owners and developers, but enough is enough,” he told reporters after visiting the landslide-hit area yesterday afternoon.

"There are many highland areas in Selangor and the Federal Territory. We must make sure that the land in all these areas is firm and there should be no more problems relating to landslides.

"If there is a likelihood of a landslide, early action should be taken," he added.
(this is the most obvious statement I have ever heard!!)

I can't begin to know where to curse hearing such "intelligent" words from our out going PM!
After the tragedy happen then only you consider stopping these dangerous projects ah?!?!
Some more you are worried about making private land owners and developers angry ah?!?
People DIED because your administration was too busy entertaining corruptions and getting your pockets filled with money!!!
Then only after all these bad things happen then only you say we should stop these projects!!

FROM your statement, you knew about all these problems but did nothing or said anything about it!! Now that these disaster has happen you wanna act like the good guy and say all this projects should be stop ah?!?!? Sorry PM I DON'T BUY YOU (BS) RUBBISH!!!

How about you UP COMING PM?!?!

What was his response?!?

I TELL YOU IT WAS NO BETTER!!

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak confirmed that the government would not be issuing any more permits for hillside developments following the landslide tragedy today.

Speaking at a press conference after visiting the affected area in Bukit Antarabangsa, he also urged developers to stop lobbying for building permits for hillside development projects.

He said urgent preventive measures must be taken to avoid any future hillside tragedies.

BASICALLY he said the same CRAP like his boss!!!

COMMON! We are intelligent people.
Both your response is nothing more that a Public Relation Stunt!!!
Not a word of sympathy or even apologetic about how badly your administration had managed the hill (due to corruption!). Just put the blame on others!!
Could not even have the guts to take responsibility of the issue!!! And you call yourself leaders!

Its no wonder Malaysia are indifferent to the authorities!!! One victim sum it up perfectly...!

Dr Benjamin George, who survived the Highlands Tower disaster, was not convinced that things would get better.

“In three months, the tractors will start work again. I have survived long enough to see all this nonsense repeated,” he said.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COME OUT WITH A MEDICAL REPORT?!?!!

Was reading about the poor kid who died because of National Service Camp and his poor family ordeal!

Apparently her sister got pick for NS and they refuse to be sympathetic and give her an exemption!

The best they could do is give her a 3 years deferment!!!

Are the people in the National Service (NS) Training Department so heartless and insensitive to people's feeling?!?!?!?

If their own son died at the prime of their life due to the NS Camp, would they dare sent their only other child to go for the Camp again?!??!????

Worse still they have the audacity to say that 'the department understand what she and the family is going through".

I am sure nobody is going to question the NS Department's intention if they give her an exemption from NS!

WORSE OF ALL IS THAT THIS POOR FAMILY IS THAT THEY STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF DEATH FOR THEIR SON!!!

Ricky, 20, died on Sept 15!!!! Till today the Malacca Hospital had not released the cause of his death.
3 MONTHS!!!!
Does it take that long to figure out what happen to Ricky?!?!?

Question of the Day
Which Govt Ministry should be responsible for Ricky death?!?!
And is there a malicious reason why the Hospital is delaying their report?!?!

Monday, December 1, 2008

Top 5 things said by our leaders last week that I don't agree with!

1. Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir has called on the Government to abolish the vernacular school system to enhance unity among the people.

He said a single school system was the only way to check racial polarisation.

“If they reject this suggestion, then they should explain why they are against it,” he said.

IF THE NATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM WAS GOOD ENOUGH THEY Mukhriz MIGHT HAVE A POINT!
However UMNO and BN has screw up our national education system so bad that even their own leader would not put their own kids in National School but put them in private schools and then sent them for IB and universities in the State!!

Does Mahathir's son want to brain wash our children ("for the sake of unity") at the expenses of quality education for our children!? I wonder what schools does he send his children to?!??!

They (YMGM) demanded an apology as well as RM2mil compensation.

I can maybe understand the memorandum of protest but why the RM2mil compensation?!?

What justification could they possibly have to claim RM2mil and compensate WHAT?!?!?
Sometimes I wonder if these people are really fighting for their race or are they just greedy, lazy opportunist?!?!?

I don't usually shoot the opposition but I disagree with their stand on this issue!
Let's face facts!

Learning Science and Maths in BM is worthless!

BM does not have the vocabulary for science and maths subjects! Some guy in Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka will probably take a English word and "Malaysianise" it!

Then they will argue about how to spell it properly in BM and how to pronounce it in BM!

Waste of time because when they enter University they will have to learn it all over again in English!!!

I can understand political immunity and maybe even civil immunity but CRIMINAL IMMUNITY!

Why would they even need CRIMINAL IMMUNITY if they do not commit any crime?!?!?

I wonder if his statement has any relation to Bruce Willis suing Tengku Imran Tuanku Jaafar, son of the Negri Ruler, over a green rubber venture.
Or the fact that the ruler of Negeri Sembilan, has been ordered by the courts to pay a bank RM1.5 million due to a US$1 million suit by Standard Chartered, h e r e, a grand nephew of Tuanku Jaafar was reportedly involved in a brawl with bodyguards of the Johor Istana after a KL nightspot misunderstand. (from this source)

Taking statistic like this from the police is like believing a criminal when he says he is not guilty
(without any external non-bias prove)

Why are we comparing ourselves with countries so far away anyway.
Hong Kong and Japan has long been know as a region without much "moral values".

We are comparing with countries where prostitution and strip clubs are legal!!

Why not compare ourselves with Singapore?!?!

There will always be people better than us and people who are worse than us. The key to improve is to pit ourselves with people better than us! IF WE ALWAYS COMPARE WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE WORSE, OUR STANDARDS WILL DROP FURTHER!?

The REAL Vision 2020!

Where is our direction for our next generation..?
For those who started work around 1973, a 1.3 Litre Japaness car was RM 7000
Today the equivalent is.... let's say RM 60000...........8.5 times
In 1973 a double storey house was about RM 45,000..or less
Today it is about RM 300,000............6.6 times
(It was advertised in a school magazine at 37,000, Taman Lumba Kuda) This makes it 8.1 times

In 1973 an Engineer's pay was RM 1000
Today it is about RM 2000 +/-............2 times....
From 1973 to 2008........35 years......what is the Trend.?

Bearish !!!!
In a stock market when the trend is bearish , what do we do?..

Exit !!!
When a country's trend is bearish what do we do?
This Bearish trend is more difficult to turn around as compared to the stock market.

I have used these 3 items House, Car & Salary as a measurement of the country' s performance for the past 35 years....
Foreigners also ask about these 3 items to gauge our standard of living.

There is a book I saw in MPH bookshop entitled :Malaysia : The Failed Nation
some of you may be interested to read it. I agreed with the writer.....

This morning I was having Coffee at McDonald. I asked how much per hour is their pay? RM 3.00 ! x 8 hours = RM 24 per day... x 25 days = RM 600 per month

My daughter works part-time during her University days..she worked at Gloria Jeans Coffee.... the pay ? Australian $ 14.00 ( @ 3.15 = RM 44per hour.....x 8 = RM 352 per day !!! x 25 days = RM 8800

13.3 times more !!!!! ......Price of houses in Perth is about the same in KL Price of cars are about 23 % cheaper...in Perth. ( Australia )

I think more and more people are becoming aware of this Bearish trend.
Developed country by 2020?...means High income country
Let's look at some as of year 2005 ( Financial Times )
USA GNP per capita US$ 35400
UK GNP per capita US$ 25510
Australia GNP per capita US$ 19530
Singapore GNP per capita US $ 20690

These are developed countries by income measurement
Malaysia 's GNP per capita US$ 3540
Year 2020..developed country?

Really...a sad story.
Worrying Trends, isn't it??
Ringgit sliding further and further under BN Rule.

Recently, I interviewed some fresh graduates applying for jobs with my engineering company.

I accepted two applicants on a starting salary of RM1600.
It struck me as odd that 15 years ago, I myself started workas a fresh graduate engineer for the same pay.

Indeed, if you compare the
salaries of graduates now and 15 or even 20 years ago, you'll find little difference but that their purchasing power is vastly different.

It's the same story when you compare salaries of shop assistants, office staff, factory workers and others.
To compound the effect of inflation, the ringgit has depreciated greatly against all major currencies.

The real income of most Malaysians has moved backwards.

This is why many Malaysians suffer under the petrol hike. The root of the problem is that our real incomes have shrunk in the face of inflation and depreciated currency

Malaysians have not been spoiledby subsidy but are unable to move out of the time lock of stagnated and depreciated incomes.

If you compare the per capita incomes of Singapore , Hong Kong , Taiwan and South Korea , they are a few multiples of ours although
at independence all these countries were the on the same economic level as Malaysia .

What has gone wrong? We were the rising star of East Asia , a countryrich in natural resources with the most promising potential.

The reason is massive corruption, plundering of resources, wastage of funds for huge non- economic projects, anti-public interest deals with politically-linked companies and passing-of-the -buck to the man in the street..

Four decades of NEP where education, economic and employment policies are defined by race ensured that meritocracy took a back seat.

Our university standard has declined and the today best and brightest of our youths emigrate to escape the racial inequility only to contribute to the economies of foreign lands.

The reputation of our judiciary which was held in high esteem worldwide has sunk so low that foreign investors now insist on arbitration in Singapore in case of any dispute.

We also have a slew of oppressive laws such as the ISA, OSA, Uuca and PPPA which stifle free speech and are designed to keep the ruling parties in power.

We have become less attractive to foreign investors and now lag behindour neighbours in Asean for foreign direct investment. Even some corporations who have established themselves here are moving out.

All the economic and social malaise cannot help but affect the value of our currency. The strength of a country's currency is after all, a reflection of its fundamentals.

Furthermore, Bank Negara has a policy of weak ringgit to help exporters, never mind the burden on the common folk. The government is pro-corporation, not pro-rakyat.

While the poor and middle-class are squeezed, an elite group gets breathtakingly rich. We have the distinction of having the worse income disparity in Asean. A re-distribution of wealth is under way from the poor and middle-class to a select group of politically-connected elite.

The end result of this re-distribution will be a small group of super-rich while the majority are pushed into poverty and themiddle-class shrinks. This is what happens when the
rich gets richer and the poor get poorer.

There is much that is wrong with Malaysia . The responsibility for pulling the country backwards can be laid squarely at the door of the ruling regime. It is BN's mis-governance, racial politics and cultureof patronage which has seen the country regress economically and socially.

We seem to be sliding down a slippery slope, further down with each passing year of BN's rule. Another five years of BN rule and we'll beat Indonesia 's standard under Suharto. Another 10 years and we'll be touching the African standard.

ARE YOU GETTING THE REAL VISION 2020 NOW?!??!?

Is there any hope for Malaysia ?
Faced with the reality that BN will never change, many Malaysians desperate for change turn their lonely eyes to Anwar Ibrahim.
Pakatan Raykat has promised to treat all races fairly, to plug wastage, fight corruption, reform the judiciary and make Malaysia more competitive.
But some have questioned whether we can trust Anwar and his loose coalition of disparate parties..

The question is not whether we can trust Anwar and Pakatan Rakyat but whether we can afford not to.

Can we afford another ten years of BN's misrule?

THIS IS SCARY STUFF!!

police brutality sinister corruption secrets

Got this scary news from Malaysiakini...
Two PKR leaders want an independent commission to probe the death of Indian Malaysians while in police custody!! The duo claimed to have received 11 complaints over the last two years from families of Indian remand prisoners who have died in police lock-ups nationwide!!
"I am sure there are more unreported cases. We have not heard about remand prisoners of other ethnic groups dying in lock-ups, at least not that many. The community wants answers from the authorities,” said Arumugam.Kalaivanar, who said he has handled four complaints, claimed that police investigations have remained open-ended or classified as ‘suicide’.
Two of the cases were in Selangor, he said, involving a 32-year-old in Klang in 2004 and a 22-year-old in Bukit Beruntong in 2006."
'Until today police have not revealed their findings and reportedly told the families that the investigations are still on," he said.
The duo were speaking journalists today at the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital mortuary in Sungai Petani, Kedah, where a second post-mortem examination was conducted by pathologist Dr Bhupinder Singh on a remand prisoner S Suria Ramesh, 29.
He had been arrested in Kulim last Thursday in connection with several alleged robbery cases, but died in the Kota Setar district police lock-up on Saturday.
His uncle S Ganesan, 45, believes his nephew, who leaves wife Vimala and a seven-year-old son, did not commit suicide.
Police usually investigate death in custody if the post-mortem report raises suspicion of foul play or if the next-of-kin obtain a court order.
1. What exactly does "open-ended" mean???
2. Is it not basic police procedure to remove everything that can be use as a suicide weapon from the prisoner first before putting him/her in a cell??
3.Then how come still got so many suicide case within police custody??
4. Does this reflect the police competency/ negligence or is there some conspiracy theory behind this??
5. Is it not the police responsibility to make sure the prisoner are safe while in their custody??
6. If this is true, then will the police take responsibility for the death and pay some kind of compensation or etc?!?
7. I wonder how many Malays also die while in police custody???
8. Does all this information scared the crap out of you??
9. Issit not the Police job to protect us and not scared the crap out of us?!?
10. Do you think (if it is indeed a policeman killed the prisoners) that the policeman will get purnished???

Is lowering your EPF contribution really good for you?!?

LOWERING the rate of employees’ contribution to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) temporarily is part of the Government’s bag of tricks to rouse the economy.

This time around, an employee can reduce his EPF contribution from 11% of his salary to 8% for two years from Jan 1. The idea is to boost private consumption by putting more money in workers’ pockets.

Unlike the last two occasions, the next rate cut will be on a voluntary basis. The Government has estimated that RM4.8bil a year will be freed up for spending in the economy if all EPF contributors opt for the rate cut.

We are clear about the argument that
increasing workers’ disposable income is good for the economy.

BUT THE REAL QUESTION IS..."IS THE EPF CUT GOOD FOR THE WORKERS?!?"

The EPF has often said that for most workers, their savings are already insufficient to see them comfortably through their old age. There will even be less available when the contributions are reduced. Taking into consideration that at retirement age, the worker will find it more difficult to get a job,
it is better that he tries to manage with the present take home pay than to have less savings upon retirement.

Considering the cost of living has gone up and our purchasing power has been significantly reduced in recent times,
there is little this magical three percentage points can do for the individual per se.

And the most important thing is......... there is now a tax-free limit on EPF savings and insurance premiums amounting to RM8,000. If, by reducing our contributions, we go below the limit, it can also have implications on our tax bracket.

This means while it may look like we may have extra disposable income from the EPF cuts......what actually may happen is that
the govt will take back the extra income through taxing back your higher disposable income!!!

(Mark my words! Lets see if the govt will raise income tax rate next year!)

QUESTION OF THE DAY!
Is the goverment being sneaky about this lower EPF scheme!

The prophecy is TUHMAM and not RAHMAN! hahaha!!!

read this on Malaysiakini from a guy commenting on the RAHMAN prophecy. I thought it was funny! Take 5 mins to entertain yourself lah! Hahahaha!!!

Mat Al-Jajawi: I have never heard of a more imbecilic 'prophecy' than this and wonder who was the smart Alec who started it, as if Malaysia does not have enough follies already.

The first prime minister was not Rahman, but Tunku Abdul Rahman. So his name starts with a ‘T' and not R. Even if one drops the Tunku part, his name will start with an ‘A'.
Granted that in the case of the second PM, his name was Abdul Razak Hussein; so the first letter of his name is obviously ‘A'. Similarly, Hussein Onn's name fits into the ‘prophecy' as it starts with an ‘H. 'So do the two succeeding PM's Dr Mahathir Mohamed and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

When it comes to Najib, his name is Mohammed Najib Abdul Razak, so his first letter is an ‘M', not an ‘N'.

In summary, the prophecy is correct only in four out of six cases - or two-thirds correct. Granted this fraction happens to coincide with the parliamentary majority required to amend the Malaysian constitution. But to use this ‘performance' to justify the prophecy is ridiculous and shows how naive we Malaysians can be.

I would have thought that for a country that boasts of having launched a man into space, this kind of prophecy would have been nipped in the bud, when it first appeared in the 1970s. Using the true first letters of the five names who have been prime ministers, and Najib who is tipped to be the next one, their first letters spell ‘Tahmam'. The nearest Arabic word that comes closest to this is tuhmah. It means an accusation. (hmmmm...... I wonder how is getting so many accusation!....hehehehhe)

Readers please check other languages.
---------------------------------------------------------

Can we also consider Anwar Ibrahim and just say his nick name is Nwar?
hehehehehehe!!

Some people say that with the completion of the "Rahman" prophecy.....UMNO reign of terror will also be finish!!
WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?

2 demonstration in KL today! Guess which one the police stop!

Today there were 2 separate gathering in KL.
First one was pro-ISA the second was anti-ISA
NO points for guessing the right one!!!

YOU GOT IT!!! Of course it was the Anti-ISA one!!!
You have got to be an idiot or living under a rock to get that one wrong!!!

The police today moved in to disperse a group of people who had gathered at a field in Ampang Jaya since 8pm for the launch of an anti-ISA campaign. (you won't get this news on TheStar or NST)

In the process, it is learnt that about seven people have been arrested for failing to disperse.

But on the same day!!!!!
About 500 of the Pewaris (and gang) members held a peaceful gathering outside their meeting place at Wisma Sejarah before going to the Jalan Tun Razak police station to lodge their reports.

Did the police do anything about it?!?!

Was there any arrest??!!?

Worse of all was the way TheStar reported it!!
(hidden at the back end of an article "Malay, Muslim NGOs lodge police reports")

Below is taken for the last part of the article....

Later, about 500 of the coalition’s members held a peaceful gathering outside their meeting place at Wisma Sejarah before going to the Jalan Tun Razak police station to lodge their reports.
During the gathering, a woman who was standing at an overhead pedestrian bridge shouted obscenities at the group.
Some members of the group responded with shouts while others chased her before they were stopped by policemen.
The group lodged another report against the woman at the police station.

Even what was written above is full of crap and contradicting itself.
First!!! they say it was a peaceful gathering.....then they said the group shouted back and chased her.

Second!!! The
Star newspaper reported that the lady "shouted obscenities at the group", but only reported that "the group responded with shouts".

This is a very cowardly way of reporting the news!!!
The group responded in shouts only?!? NO OBSCENITIES OF THEIR OWN!!?!?
(This type of reporting only makes me believe that TheStar is own by MCA and MCA is own by UMNO!!!)

ANYWAY THE REPORT WAS NOT THE TRUE PICTURE OF WHAT REALLY HAPPEN!

I saw the real footage on NTV7 and it showed a group of violent MOB yelling at a poor lady. They chase her, tried to beat her and EVEN STOMP ON HER CAR!!!!

The police did only minimal restrain. (OK Thank God police were there, or else they might just kill her!)

But again NO ARREST?!?!? OR EVEN DISPERSING THE GROUP?!?!
They even had the guts to lodge a police report?!? This is CRAZY!!!

BIGGEST JOKE IS THAT STAR NEWSPAPER CAN CALL IT PEACEFUL GATHERING!!!
