Is UMNO and BN PUNISHING the people of Perak?

Malaysiakini reported that..

Perak BN government is bent on destroying all people-friendly policies implemented by the previous Pakatan Rakyat administration.

When Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir took his office in February, he was reported as saying that BN would continue the people-friendly policies implemented during Pakatan’s 10-month rule.

However, this turned out to be a broken promise as about nine people-friendly policies have either been scrapped or put on the back-burner.

Here are the people-friendly policies which the BN Govt has scraped!

1. 3,000 applications from residents of new and planned villages to convert their land titles from leasehold to freehold cancelled.

2. 817 elected village headmen had their term of office terminated. The village chiefs have since filed a suit in the Ipoh High Court to be reinstated.

3. The proposal to change the octagon Yak Tack Seng market along Jalan Osbone into a tourist centre scrapped.

4. The uniform one-coupon parking system for vehicles, and at a discounted rate from April, for the whole state did not see daylight.

5. The proposed RM38 million new bus terminal at Meru Raya in Jelapang grounded.

6. The open-tender policy for approving government contracts, land and logging concessions reverted to the old system of closed tenders.

7. The giving state land to religious schools and Chinese independent schools also scrapped.

8. The policy of giving RM1,000 to the dependents of senior citizens who die too has been buried.

9. The process of legalising the 134 new villages put on hold.

GO AHEAD BN!
Do your worst!!
Sooner or later the People of Perak will be able to vote you out!
We will remember this evil you have done!

Malaysia's own Judge Dredd!!

I read this article from Malaysiakini!

Judge Zainal Abidin Kamarudin on Friday, who ordered sales promoter Muhammad Syafiq Abd Wahab, 20, to be caned 10 times in the court premises for gang robbery. The caning would be carried out on July 15, in front of the offender’s parents. Additionally, the judge imposed a sentence of 200 hours of community service.

The Bar Council has slammed a Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court judge who intends to personally whip an offender after delivering a sentence against him.

“The judge cannot be the executioner. That is the basic principle of criminal law,” said Bar Council president Ragunath Kesavan.

What has our judiciary come to?!?
I this because UMNO has been handpicking useless, unqualified but UMNO friendly people to be in a position of authority???
How will we ever get justice in Malaysia???

Another reasons why we must kick out BN in the next election! (Stupid DNA Bill)

Taken from Malaysiankini!
The Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Identification Bill went down to the wire as parliamentarians voted for an amendment to Section 3(2) of the Act.

However, the government with a majority of only one (48 to 47) voted it through.Critics have described the legislation as a disaster for legal and human rights. Opposition political parties, civil society and the Bar Council have slammed the bill for placing excessive powers in the hands of the police and the home minister.

All this bullsh!T just to catch one man!! (Anwar)
Oh my goodness!!

Let me remind all Malaysians (Opposition supporters or BN supporters!) The very same bill that U support can be the smoking gun that kills you as well!!

However, having said that I am also very disappointed with the PKR rep that fail to attend Parliament to block this legislation.

Blocking the Media

This is a good article I support fully! (From Malaysian Today)

Monday, 22 June 2009 09:12
A democratic country is supposed to have media that is impartial to politics. Its purpose is to report the events in an unbiased manner without conviction. Of course it goes without saying that these reports must be as close to the truth as possible. The Federal Constitution provides for the freedom of speech. Sadly this is not the case in Malaysia as media interference is the vogue here.

By Hakim Joe

Just last month, the Malaysian Navy encroached upon Indonesian waters and the Indonesian warship, KRI Untung Surapati-872 was nearly forced to shoot at a Malaysian warship, KD Yu-3500. This occurred at the Ambalat Block, just south of Tawau. A day earlier, another Indonesian warship, KRI Hasanudin-366 also drove away KD Baung-3509, a helicopter of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, and a Malaysian Beachraft which tried to enter the Ambalat Block. On the 17th of June, the Chief of the Malaysian Navy Admiral Abdul Aziz Jaafar offered an apology to the Indonesian government over the Ambalat affair when a five member Indonesian parliamentary delegation arrived at his office.

Now, why was this not reported over the media? It could have been an oversight if this was an isolated case but thirty six separate incidents that went unreported?

How about the Saifool (correct spelling) medical report that was leaked from Pusrawi Hospital that indicated that the alleged victim was never sodomized? Why did this report not obtain media coverage here until MT reported it?

What about the contagious Leptospirosis outbreak at the Juru Detention Camp (Bukit Mertajam) for undocumented migrants which caused the deaths of Burmese Sa La Hin (26), and Thang Hoih Ping (21)? Only after 123 civil society groups from all around the world issued a joint statement did one English print-media in Malaysia publish a report.

Or the time that the American president took a month before they finally decided to send a congratulatory message to Najib after he became PM of Malaysia?

What about the annual reports from Transparency International, UNDP (now defunct), Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and a score of other international organizations that have seemingly failed to be reported on local media?

I am sure that there are a lot more news events that have not been reported on the mainstream media. Of the few that can be construed as anti-establishment, these news were reported in such a slanted manner that truths became half-truths and lies became blatant lies. Why must it be this way? Do these media think that Malaysians are so naïve to swallow it hook, line and sinker?

The answer is yes and no. Yes because a lot of what is reported on the print media is regarded as absolute truths by people who are plain ignorant or who are not informed otherwise, and no because the reporters are not programmed to care if what they report are half-truths or blatant lies. This about sums up what work pride means to the average reporter here in Malaysia. Having said so, this does not mean that they are absolutely dishonorable because most of the reporters and editors are handicapped by Malaysian laws and by threat of closure.

As the caliber of reporting goes down the drain, the people can only hope to obtain truthful reporting from alternative sources and since print media is unable to provide such sources here, it is entirely up to the electronic media to fill in this gap. The government understands this fact and tries hard to impose censorship on this medium but its actions backfired on them woefully as exhibited in their attempt to block MT.

As this option was a no-go, the remaining option is an operation of disinformation where all efforts are mounted to discredit them. Little do they realize that such pitiful actions merely serve to enhance the reputation of those they attempt to discredit. The co-opting of other bloggers by means of intimidation can only go so far as this can only be imposed forcefully on local bloggers.

Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) banned songs with Allah in it!

I don't get it!!
I really don't!
Why banned this Indonesian song?

How is it that the country with the larges Muslim population in the world allow the word Allah to be use by other religion and their people are not confuse!!

But Malaysian Muslim are in danger of getting confuse if other religion use Allah?!?

Personnally I think this is a really big insult to all Malaysian Muslim!

So easy get confuse ah?!

Enjoy the song!

WHY BN must be kick out from Govt!!

Because this is Najib's idea of 1 Malaysia "Policey"!!!
In a time where crime is so rampant Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mat Yusop saw it fit to sent 900 police and FRU personnel, along with two water cannon trucks to harrest a Father's day dinner hosted by DAP!!

The Star reported...
Santiago said a permit to have the function was approved by the police on June 17 but was revoked on Friday.
Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mat Yusop confirmed that the permit for the event was cancelled (at the last minute), adding: “We advised them to not give speeches and if they do so, we will arrest them.”
WHY WAS IT CANCELLED!?!
WHY CONFISCATE THEIR PA SYSTEM?!?
DOES THE POLICE HAVE A WARRENT FOR THAT?!?
WHY WERE THEY STOP FROM MAKING SPEECHES?!?
CAN POLICE ARREST THEM FOR MAKING SPEECHES?!?
ON WHAT GROUNDS!!?!?
Are the just trying to intimidate and frighten people to not support DAP?!?
I am not a DAP supporter but news like this just makes me angry at how unfair the police are!

The IGP and Hishammuddin should tell this men in blue to go catch some real criminals!!

I personally like to know what does the all the BN supporters have to say about this!

Another Idiot who just want publicity!

Yesterday NST reported that...
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir announce that a South American multinational corporation (Vale) is expected to sign an agreement soon with the Perak government, which will pave the way for a RM9 billion investment over the next 10 years.

He said the state government was also discussing with the company on how to create spill-over effects from the project so that more locals would be involved in downstream activities.

WAH!! So good ah!?!? Deal not even close already talking about spill=over effects ah?!!?
HAhahahahaha!!!!

This is an example of an idiot politician who jump the gun to make an announcement for the sake of a publicity stunt! This at the potential cost of losing the investment all together!!

In actual fact the Malaysian Insider understands the Vale’s management has not even received board approval.

Vale could also face censure from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) where the company is listed over the premature announcement, even though the Perak mentri besar did not name the company.

The Malaysian Insider has learned that...
Vale has no plans yet for any definitive announcement.
Sources in New York also confirmed that the company had been originally in talks with Nizar and had only recently met Zambry.

So what actually happen...
Like the Perak govt, Zambry and his BN goons has hijack the deal that was initiated by Pakatan Rakyat and throught their stupidity and pride have threaten to lose the investment all together!!

Way to go Zambry!!! What else are you gonna screw up in Perak before the rakyat vote you out in the next by-election!?!?

Penang offers RM10,000 reward for info on corruption

Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.....We need a law against corruption just as we need laws against all crimes.

There you have it. One is a statement by the Chief Minister and the other is a statement who ruled Malaysia for 22 years. Nevertheless, they have both missed the mark by a mile.

The problem is not that we need more laws or a reward system for stool pigeons.

The problem is that we are an overregulated country.

And excess regulations breed corruption in a society that froths and foams at the mouth screaming about religion but is steeped in vile.

Malaysia needs to deregulate.
Malaysians, in particular those Malays who are in government and those who walk in the corridors of power, are just too corrupted and hypocritical to be entrusted with the job of regulating things.

Chinese and Indians too are extremely corrupt.
Just looks at the Port Klang Free Trade Zone fiasco and Samy Vellu as examples. These are totally ‘non-Bumi’ corrupt acts. The only ‘good’ thing is these MCA and MIC slime-balls and scumbags do not go around shouting that the Kafirs are going to hell like the Malays do.

Do you know that 70% of the slot machines (one-arm bandits) are owned by one Chinaman who is a crony of anyone who becomes Prime Minister since the time of Tun Dr Mahathir?

Yes, and this man paid Hee RM25 million to bring down the Pakatan Rakyat Perak government.
And do you know how much he pays to operate these slot machines?

And we are talking about tens of thousands of slot machines here. First he has to pay the Umno politicians a hefty sum for the licence. Then he has to pay a monthly ‘commission’ to ensure that the licences are not cancelled. Then he has to pay the police a monthly ‘protection fee’ to ensure that the premises where the slot machines are located are not raided and the machines confiscated for ‘breaching the terms and conditions of the licence’.

If you want a gun licence that too can be arranged.
All it takes is the right fee to the state Chief Police Officer. The less eligible you are the higher the fees to get the gun licence. If you are an underworld boss then the price can go as high as RM250,000.

If you get arrested then no problem, even for crimes that attract the death penalty.
If you are a ‘common’ drug pusher then the fee to escape the death penalty is RM250,000 while if you are a rich tycoon Datuk then it can go as high as RM10 million or more depending on how strong the evidence against you is and whether they also need to make this evidence ‘disappear’.
A Datukship, especially of you are a Chinese underworld boss who needs some ‘respectability’ to your name, starts from RM250,000. Tan Sri is even more expensive while the ‘lesser’ JPs can go for RM50,000 to RM100,000.

You need licences and permits to do anything in Malaysia.
And that is why Malaysia is so corrupted. Eliminate all these licences and permits and corruption would be reduced drastically.

Those who make the most money through corrupt means are those who approve these licences and permits and those who are the beneficiaries of these licences and permits. No permit, no corruption. No licence, no corruption.

Of course, in many instances, these licences and permits are imposed to ensure that the aspirations of the New Economic Policy (NEP) are met. You need to be a Bumiputera or meet the conditions of the NEP to qualify for the licence or permit.

Most times the Chinaman would just need to go into an Ali Baba arrangement with a corrupted Malay, while another corrupted Malay would approve the licence or permit for an under-the-table fee. Then they all go to the mosque to pray and scream that they will go to heaven while the Kafir are going to hell.

Give me just a day as Prime Minister and I will cut down corruption by at least half.
I will just abolish all licence and permit requirements. You want to do business, just set up your stall. You want to open a gambling den, carry on, buy all the slot machines you require, no need licence. Just pay the local council tax and licence fee and you can do whatever you want.
Take the Ah Long problem as another example.

Back in the 1970s we in the Malay Chambers of Commerce already told the government about this problem. But the Ah Longs are in partnership with the police so nothing was done about the problem. That’s right, you think the Ah Longs can operate if not for the fact they pay the police protection money?

Now, 30 years later, everyone is screaming.
Hey, we screamed 30 years ago. Why only now you scream?
We did a study in a small fishing town called Dungun in Terengganu. Invariably, this is a Malay town. We found out that almost every Malay petty-trader borrows money from Ah Longs.

They borrow RM1,000 but will receive only part of that money. The interest is deducted in advance. Yet they are considered having borrowed RM1,000. Then, every day, they have to pay RM40 interest. Every day! The RM1,000 principal, however, remains the same. That never gets reduced. So they pay RM40 a day for the rest of their life while they owe RM1,000 also for the rest of their life.

Why does this happen?
Well, these Malay petty-traders can’t get loans from proper banks. Banks need collateral, guarantors, working papers, cash flows, feasibility studies, etc., before they give you a loan. In other words, you need to be rich to borrow money from a bank.

Poor people just can’t borrow money.
So they go to Ah Longs to borrow money at RM40 interest a day on every RM1,000 they borrow. They don’t need working papers, cash flows and feasibility studies to borrow from Ah Longs and the collateral is their life and that of their family. And the police will help act as debt collectors if you don’t pay your RM40 a day for every RM1,000 borrowed.

No, we don’t need more anti-corruption laws.
We need an end to licences and permits. And abolishing the NEP would also help to a certain extent. Then we need to execute corrupted Malaysians like what they do in China. That will not eliminate corruption totally but it would certainly help reduce it drastically. And if Malays can become proper Muslims and not talk-only Muslims, then that may help bring corruption way down. Until then, cakaplah sampai berbueh mulut.

Will the Corrupt and Guilty ever be brought to Justice?

Below are some recent incidents that I wonder if the corrupt and guilty will ever be brought to justice?!?
Actually I wonder if they will even be found guilty!
That is how much faith I have in Malaysia's authority and judiciary right now!

1. Utusan Malaysia extreme racial article!
(see Zaid responce, english version in Malaysiakini here. It is first class! I would vote him for PM)

4. The final one that I am sure that no justice would be seen is the case of Kelantan Prince, Tengku Mohd Fakhry vs his 17 year old, Manohara.
I rather not comment who is telling the truth and who is lying for fear of being charge with sedition. However base on this report, Fakhry (31) married Manohara when she was only 16 years old!!!! And the final kick in the teeth is that (in Dec 06) Manohara was invited to attend a dinner with the then Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and it is there that she met Fakhry!Who wanna bet that maybe only 1 out of the 4 or (even worse) none of this case will ever see justice!!
