Syed Hamid Open his mouth without using his brain!... again!

Mr Home Minister yesterday shot off his mouth AGAIN without thinking!
Malaysiakini reported that he said...."The people should not regard criminals as heroes and the police who enforce the law as demons,"

Basically Syed Hamid was shot because, as a lawyer he should have known that someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
That is the very basic and fundamental principle taught to you in law school.
So, to call someone a criminal before being charge and convicted in the court of law is very stupid...especially coming from the Home Minister!

Now for the interesting part!
It is always interesting to see how different newspaper reports it's news!

The home minister urged the public not to hail criminals as heroes and enforcement officers as demons for doing their job.

The people should not regard criminals as heroes and the police who enforce the law as demons, Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said today.

The people should not regard criminals as heroes and the police who enforce the law as demons, Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar said today.
BUT
“We cannot portray a crime suspect as a hero and those enforcing the law as demons,” he said.
Is theStar the only newspaper that was acurate in its reporting or are they trying to help the Home Minister get out of a blunder he made!

I am starting to wonder who the Star editor is sleeping with!

Highlighted News!

I just wan to highlight some news in the media and some feedback from people I totally agreed with!

1.Court sets aside order for Umno to pay RM218mil
Umno can breathe a little easier after the Kuala Lumpur High Court today set aside an earlier order compelling party treasurer Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi to pay RM218 million for unpaid campaign materials for the 2004 general election.

Poll merchandise supplier Elegant Advisory Sdn Bhd had on July 17 obtained a judgment in default against Abdul Azim after Umno lawyers failed to appear in court to fight the case. In making the judgment, High Court deputy registrar Ahmad Faizadh Yahaya, who had earlier given the order compelling Abdul Azim to pay up, had reversed his own decision. The about-turn came after his findings that Elegant Advisory’s writ of summons did not follow proper procedures as the claim was not made directly to Abdul Azim but through a third person. Ahmad Faizadh also ruled that the statement of claim failed to meet the requirements of the Societies Act, in which the claim should have been made to the person then in office, namely the former secretary for administration and finance, Ishak Abdul Rahim, and not the Umno treasurer.
In other words, Elegant Advisory’s legal action was filed to the wrong parties.
According to Umno lawyer Mohd Hafarizam Harun, the party will be filing a conditional memorandum of appearance within 14 days of the decision. This will enabled him to file an application to strike out the suit.
The RM218 million awarded by the High Court was the highest-ever amount that the ruling party - which forms the backbone of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition - had been ordered to pay by the court of law.

THIS IS STUPID!!
The question should be did BN order the campaign materials?!?!? If YES!
Did they actually use it?!?! If YES!!
Did they pay for it?!?! If NO!!!
PAY THE POOR COMPANY LAH!
To dismiss the case on a technicality is something I thought we will only see on TV shows!

2. Death can't be due to 'liquid in lungs'
Worried Malaysian: ‘Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said today that the post-mortem results showed that Kugan Ananthan died because of 'liquid in his lungs'.' I am certainly very surprised that 'liquid in the lungs' can be listed as a cause of death. Any self- respecting doctor will not put up with such rubbish.
The 'liquid in the lungs' is a probably a finding. When a person drowns, there is 'liquid in the lungs' but the doctor will not put that as a cause of death. If the doctor finds 'liquid in the lungs' in this case, he has to probe further to find the cause of the 'liquid in the lungs'.
As the youth was not found in the sea or river, drowning can be ruled out. Was water forced into his lungs? What about the bruises and lacerations found all over his body? Did the doctor comment on those injuries? The Selangor police chief's statement actually raises more questions on the cause of death.
CH Siew: I am really amazed with our Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar. This is not the first time that allegations are rebutted without the need for an investigation.Similar to his handling of complaints on police behaviour, the treatment of the opposition and the NGO Jerit teen cyclists. His reaction is immediate and dismissive.Does our beloved home ministers have psychic powers that he knows exactly what happened?
Or does he already have a strong team of professionals looking into each and every allegation before they even surface?Either way, it shows that he seems to have great divine power and there is no flaw under his management. One warning that Brother Syed needs to take is the recent KT by-election. The red light from the latest election is blinking so ever brightly that even a blind man can see it.
All our home minister did is to demonstrate the type of people that BN is placing in to govern the country. To me, it shows that incompetent people are in important positions and their strategies are bringing down the country. The rakyat are seeing more clearly than ever that change is no longer a luxury, but is a must since it is obvious now that our BN is the only one not changing with time.
Kenny Gan: If this is the so-called ‘dirt' that Gerak can dig up, I suggest they stop wasting their time. Gerak should concentrate on cases of real corruption or disband itself.Otherwise it may become a vehicle to serve BN to dig up irregularities on opposition politicians while turning a blind eye to real cases of multi-million ringgit corruption among BN politicians.May I ask Gerak to investigate whether the prime minister's open house was paid for by the PM himself? How is this different from this Selangor MB's case?

HINDRAF - STOP THE CRUCIFIXION OF THE MALAYSIAN INDIANS

WARNING!
Due to the distressing nature of the following material, viewer discretion is strongly advised.

22 years old Kugan a/l Ananthan proclaimed dead after being in custody in Police Station (Balai Polis) - Subang Jaya. What is happening to the Malaysian Indians? Why don't the UMNO led government just arrest and kill us all as the NAZI's did in the holocaust once for all as we are third class citizens and are such a sore eye to them. Look at his injuries, suffered in the police station. Look at the main media spinmaster at New Straits Times that claims that a 22 year old man can die all of a sudden within 5 days being in police custody due to breathing difficulties. You see the video below and you can see how blatant all of this is.
Such atrocities prevail in this modern times for us, the unwanted Malaysian Indians that we are. Does humanity depend on color, race, religion?? The doctored version of the post mortem report by the UMNO government made out by its spinmasters, surely will show that in Malaysia, with the current regime, humanity depends on color, race and religion.
Are we not deserving humans to enjoy the same rule of law and constitutional right to life as other Malaysians but rather to be treated as animals and slaves
and to be taken in, beaten and even killed?
Why does the rule of law, constitutional rights of being a Malaysian take a back step when it involves a Malaysian Indian? What have we done to deserve such treatment when our forefathers had toiled for the progress and benefit of the nation?
The recent case of Prabakaran's permanent bodily harm inflicted by the police force has not even settled and we already have another dead body of a Malaysian Indian in the police station.
As for the missing Solomon the other who was arrested with Prabakaran seems to be out of the radar screen altogether. Is he going to end up as another dead body? The police force has neither released him nor confirmed his whereabouts until today. There is clearly no transparency or accountability by the police force on his matter.
The abuses and human right violations that are perpetrated either in the police stations or outside the police station seems endless without regard to the rule of law and the constitution.
The UMNO led government seems to be providing the protection to the police force in their modus operandi in marauding the public as and how they wish. This is clearly an indication of a police state that is against the principal of democracy in fairness and justice and above all for the total annihilation of the Malaysian Indians in Malaysia.
Thank you.
